This entire thread, and exercise, could have been avoided by simply realizing the fundamental reality of relationships. There are two things that I can say about that, which were taught to me:
1. ALL relationships are founded upon three things—honesty, trust, and respect. Because PhatBoy was being manipulative, he was manipulated.
2. You can never know what another person is thinking without asking. Period. End of story. If you try to behave according to an idea about the content of another person’s thoughts, you go down the rabbit hole of self delusion.
I wasn't manipulated, its what I wanted. I went along with it willingly to experience it. I think I could have been successful but at what cost? Everything about her reminded me how special my main bitch is to me. Sometimes you have to experience what you don't want to fully know and appreciate what you do want.
