I'm not really hung over, but last night was a late one. Thinking of cancelling plans with a good fried. Is this an indication that I have a problem and need to spend more time grounded in real life?
What do you mean by recover from OTC? Do you mean ITC? How is this different than recovering from any other with a civilian? 2 weeks ago on my last visit to a club, I needed to head to dinner with friends after and it got rushed in the end VIP session. It was a nice banging 20 minutes straight with a hottie who had her own condom so I didn't use the condom that was in my jean pocket. Somehow that condom fell out of the pocket and into the pant leg as I put my clothes back on. When I later met my friends for dinner somehow the condom then fell out of the pant leg onto the floor under the table. I somehow noticed and shoved it with my shoe to a hidden spot under the table. I would say I recovered pretty well and quick fro that. What was the question again?
Just a matter of getting the right amount of rest afterwards. Sometimes I only get 3-4 hours of sleep and it does have an impact though there is an exhausted afterglow sometimes which is nice.
I like how @Bubba describes the experience as a pleasant "afterglow." I get that every time, and a crappy night of sleep, after nearly every encounter.
It was a few years ago, my first P4P with a stripper. She was a very fit athletic chick and we were both really into it and we went at it multiple positions for 4 or 5 hours with a couple short breaks in between. I like to think I'm in good shape but we had an extended full workout and I was sore for a couple days after that but it was a good sore. Best sex I've ever had, I compare everyone since to her, some were damn good but none have matched her.
Recover? I'm usually happy go lucky the next day! But to answer the question, it usually takes me a day to recover. I might have a couple of drinks before or during OTC, but not to the point where I'm drunk. The major contributing factor to my recovery taking so long is because my OTCs are usually beginning near or after midnight.
My last OTC this past Sunday, we met at around 1145 PM and parted ways around 245 AM. I didn't get home, settled until 4 AM and had to be at work at 730 AM. So it took me taking a nap during lunch and resting that night to fully recover.
Not sure of the need to recover from OTC and why that would be different than a normal day in life. If you want to cancel plans, there must be something else going on.
Recover physically: We often do a lot of drinking on my OTCs, sometimes for hours and hours. In addition, I stay up later (if I'm up past midnight, I'm probably on an OTC lol... my ATATF keeps me until 4 sometimes) but my body still tends to wake me up by 7 or 8. All of this leads to: not uncommon to be exhausted, or hung over, or both, and take the following day to recover physically
Like bubba, I sometimes get an exhausted afterglow which lasts a day or two
I'm starting to feel better now. I still had my buddy over last night, and though I was tired, I don't think he suspected anything.
I exercise and eat right, but drinking with a 20-something from 3pm until 3am is really taking a toll on me. I'm thinking about cutting the alcohol (just mine, not hers) out of the equation and maybe adding in another girl instead. We'll see how that goes.
Recovering from a weekend with my ATF, it can take a couple of weeks, even a month before I give a shit about sex again.
After a normal OTC, I’ll be out of it the next day if I’ve stayed up late, but since I don’t drink very much, if at all, when I’m out, recovery isn’t that big a deal.

Yeah, guys who are saying "you don't need to recover" are just doing a different kind of OTC -- a couple of hours of the ol' in-out, or maybe dinner then sex. But I don't know that anyone in their 40s or older who can drinks all day and night, at 22-year-old party-girl pace, and not feel it the next day; in fact, just staying up until 4am even without having been drinking for the prior 12 hours straight, make me feel pretty meh the next day
I should have clarified, mine is physical recovery only as I don’t drink. 8ball I’ve tried adding the second girl a couple of times....it didn’t help in the recover department.
Lol. I thought I was the only one. I took a night shift stripper to Vegas in July once. Now you throw in a 3 hour time difference AND 110 * heat. Lots of alcohol and she’s 20 years my junior? Guys it was the perfect storm. Forget the fact that she’s usually going to bed about the time I wake up (4:30 am). Forget the fact that I can still drink like a maniac but I’m telling you the toughest part was she doesn’t eat. I do maybe 2-4000 steps per day. 27,000 steps per day later in Vegas heat, drinking, fucking shopping fucking drinking shopping on no food? It took me a month to feel better. Had a great time, lucky I didn’t die. Lol did it again but the second time I was on Vegas time schedule for two weeks before we left. Lost a bunch of weight too that helped. Still an awesome time but god damn it was physically draining

But on a serious note that's what other hobbies are for! Keep you occupied in between OTC fun

Which is one of the major reasons I don’t drink when I’m out with 20 something strippers. :)
