The paradox of choice:
Here art imitates life and no one has a sense of humor anymore. The parody here of electronic date, hookup, or even job search culture is the paradox of choice. You see that with Natasha in the story when she first asks everyone under 5'10" to leave off the bat. It's satire. And true.

We used to go out on more (even blind) dates. We wouldn't try to google a person before meeting him or her in order to form an opinion of their story before we got to know them. It often took a couple dates to figure out if she liked us or not (and her us). There would be the butterflies of anticipation hoping he'd call or whether she's pick up. The fun sexual tension of all the flirting. That's chasing women. don't you all find that fun? I do. Or I used to.
Pretty soon we'll have amazon like reviews of one another, where all of our Exes can leave reviews of us, and woe is you don't have a 4.5 star rating. and if the first date isn't going well, we can surf our phones under the table hoping find a pic of someone else. Someone use perfect for us, based on the reviews of complete strangers to us. Isn't technology great?

Thanks for posting this, @EchoPizza.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were some legal consequences to that level of coordinated harassment. Weird as fuck as a whole.
