Anybody here a pastor/priest?

I'd bet 50 bucks that there's at least one hypocritical motherfuckin' pastor on this site.

If not, anybody know a pastor who goes to the strip club? Once I get over the hypocrisy, I think that would be pretty fuckin' funny to see my old pastor in a strip club.

If there is I'd have to bet that he is a Southern Baptist.

Maybe another good question is “how many dancers have a Father as a father?” Ha!

It would be amusing to find out if any members are pastors or priests. I could see a visit to a club being fine. A visit to VIP would be questionable. Again - who am I to judge?

I met a local pastor going into an AMP / AAMP. He said he was going to the dentist, but the dentists off ice was closed as it was Thanksgiving.

I have a nephew who is a pastor. His church is a small non-denominational bible thumping right wing, strict interpretation bible studying group. When his sister got married there was a stag party for the groom and a group of us went to one of the Providence clubs after the party. He was a passenger so ended up there. I asked him if it was a problem and he said no. Then wisecracked about Jesus saving a whore, he he he. He wanted out fast so we left after 2 dancers and he was relieved.
Obviously I’m the black sheep of the family.

I think all of us here are the black sheep of all of our families!

@gawker, I am from a New England state, so I know exactly how fundamental and "literal" a non-denominational church can be. (my parents believe a talking snake convinced a woman to eat a piece of fruit and that's why we die when we get old).

I'm an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church and used to teach HS Sunday School classes. Is that close enough?

Ditto for me, joc. People just don't appreciate the benefits of being Presbyterian! ;-)

@shailynn: “I think all of us here are the black sheep of all of our families!”

Actually, I’m the good one. Most of my family are scam artists from way back. My mom and dad, along with members of both their families, made a good living fleecing stupid rich people. My brother has sold and used more different types of drugs than most of us even know exist.

I am a paragon of virtue compared to most of them.
