Detroit strip clubs

If the do-gooders really care about strippers, why do they want them to lose their jobs?

It's unfortunate to see the places and locales drop one by one like this.

The Human Trafficking argument, though not completely impossible, it is in practice almost always completely bogus.

The main reason you see it invoked so much, is that The Uplifters know that most people don't care about prostitution. So they need some sort of an argument to back up the idea of criminalizing the conduct of consenting adults. They used to rail against porn. But since the Internet has made it so universal, those arguments are no longer persuasive. So instead they talk about 'Trafficking', something defined in only the very most vague of terms. And this has always been a claim about the Super Bowl, but never really substantiated.

But not all feminism is like this:

guerrillagirls.com Feminist artists, pro-sex, pro-prostitution. On the whole quite similar to the Russian girls, Pussy Riot.
