Dancers arrested stories?

So recently I was at one of the Bucks clubs in DFW. As I got out of my car to head inside I saw there were 3 cop cars parked out front. There were a ton of dudes standing around in the parking lot scared to go in but as a middle aged white guy who didn't do anything wrong I said fuck it and headed inside (3 cops cars is not enough to raid the place right?). Once inside there were a couple of police officers trying to arrest a dancer. They paged the girl over the speakers and she decided to hide. This lead to a literal game of hide and seek with the cops walking around with a phone with a picture of the girl trying to find her. The girl ended up grabbing some guy and dragging him into one of the semi private cabanas in the corner (that had to be a WEIRD experience for the dude), and the cops dragged her out topless and took to the locker room. All the while this was happening it was 100% business as usual. The cops at one point were pretty much tripping over couples in the middle of high mileage lap dances. God bless Texas! So anyone else seen arrests at the club?

Wow. I’ve never seen an arrest, but the cops come in regularly, to look for someone.

I was at the old Trophy Club in Houston about 15 years ago when three cops walked in. They just walked around, checked a few id’s and left. The story later was that one girl had a warrant on her, but she managed to hide in the ceiling of the dressing room until the cops left.

I was once in a private room with a dancer at one of the divier joints in town when the cops came in looking for another stripper. She was in another room a couple down from me. Thankfully, the waitress escorted them to the room she was in, but we could hear her saying "yes officer, she's right in here with a customer" as we were doing our thing.

My ATF always tells me about the warrants she has and that the other girls have I'd imagine any club in anytime at least several the girls probably have warrants.

Though they are often misdemeanor warrants and the cops won't seek them out for them.

I was in one dive club when it was hit up by the cops. I was very lucky - as I was seated at the bar - having my first beer of the night. The cops came in - and two went directly to the back - where the manager had a desk (no office) - and there was a shouting match with the manager and cops. The rest of the cops went upstairs to vip - where the dancers would do everything - and they took the dancers and guys out in cuffs. I was very fortunate to not be a part of that parade! The mileage dropped for a day or so after that. I think the manager was one of those old, angry - and somewhat senile old guys - who wouldn’t take shit from anyone. As long as the place was open - the dancers would be fucking customers in the seedy vip stalls!

About a decade ago I was in a Montreal club when a guy in a rumpled suit sat down next to me and pulled out a small flashlight and a photo. "NO," I had not seen that girl (the photo looked like a high school yearbook face shot), so the guy moved on. I decided that encounter was enough excitement for one club, so I left. Outside were about six or seven Montreal police vehicles, pointing in several different directions, all with lights flashing plus a crowd of police just standing around. Fortunately, none of them had any interest in me and I walked the two blocks to my rented car and went to try "off-island" clubs with much greater success, and many fewer constables, officers, detectives, cops, or otherwise.

Many years ago I was in Mons Venus in Tampa, mid summer afternoon. Not real busy, I was watching the dancers, and in walked 3 men wearing masks, guns drawn. The music stopped. There are no windows at the Mons, no place to run. Knowing we were in for trouble, my law enforcement training kicked in. With nothing to use as a weapon, I decided the best thing was to try to memorize a good description of the robbers. All were about 5 foot 10, same black masks, 9 mm pistols. All had shiny black shoes, and had black nylon jackets just like one I had, that was in my closet at home. Then it hit me. The jackets were like the one I wore when playing reserve deputy, given to me to go with my uniform. These fellas were LEO's. I started breathing again, and saw one of the female managers walk up to the first masked man, and her words were " WHO ARE YOU LOOKING FOR LARRY ? ". She recognized him, even though he had a mask on, I think it embarrassed them. Anyway, they were looking for ------ , a dancer, who was not there. They searched all over, but could not find whoever they were looking for. As they were walking out the door, the music started back up, the dancers went back to work, and all was normal again. Normal for Mons Venus, that is.

Years ago in Cleveland I would occasionally see police enter Pinky's, Model Tease and Club Secrets. Most of the time it was the cops checking for outstanding warrants. A few times, especially at Model Tease it was the club calling the tip in. There was rumors at the time that Model Tease was owned by an ex-cop. Most of the time they were in and out in ten minutes. The only time I ever saw a large entry of the club was a bomb threat at the Harem in Dayton a year or so ago, where cops ran in and ordered and evacuation of the club. Although in hindsight it was probably an excuse to look around as part of the long going investigation that eventually let to the shutting down the club for a year.
