76-77 degree highs, is it warm enough to wear gym shorts to the club?

These are the highs this week. Please don’t move to Arizona, we have enough people telling us how great their life was before they moved here.

Question, how warm does it need to be for shorts to be acceptable ware? Or....Are the guys who go clubbing with shorts on in AZ considered acceptable, or creeps (similar to sweatpants)?

Stay warm everybody!

I had a dream last night that I bought new mesh gym shorts, and I was in the dressing room pouring water on them to see if they would hide or show spillage.

This is when dreams become reality, at the club.

Shorts are pretty much acceptable close to year round here. But seriously, gym shorts are never acceptable. You can wear nice microfiber golf shorts instead so you don't scream "I'm a massive PL pervert" walking into a club.

Based on your area - I’d think shorts are acceptable clubbing wear most all year. The type of shorts is a different story.

I think Chili Palmer offers useful advice. Some of those microfiber shorts are very good for a grind - and the new materials are great for handling wet spots.

Gym shorts can give dancers a specific signal. Although - gym shorts might have the extras dancers coming your way - and that might be what you are looking for. So maybe that’s not a bad thing?

I generally do what CP does with golf shorts. There was one time when I wore gym shorts to a known extras club and it was not a problem. No hassle at the door and the girls appreciated the easy access.

For personal amusement the OP should find out whether there is an improved experience based on gym shorts vs. golf shorts. In my view any weather over 65 degrees is an excuse for my golf shorts.

“I’m a massive PL pervert”!

Chili, if you ever see someone like that at the club, just say hi and I’ll buy you a drink, or a lap dance. Your choice.

After learning the importance of not wearing jeans (thanks to this site), I cannot imagine goin to the club in anything but shorts. As long is I don't get hypothermia or frostbite between my truck and front door, it's warm enough for shorts.

Gammanu95 - you make a great point. If it warms about 20 degrees - up to about 32 or 40 - I will break out my shorts - and enjoy my next trip to the club.

After having a dancer recently waste time having to unzip my pants and dig around through my undies to get her hand on joc6.5, I'm thinking commando gym shorts are the only thing I should be wearing to the club. Regardless of temperature.
