How long does it usually take for an article to post after being submitted? Especially with a holiday looming?

I wrote an article on a Thursday evening and it was posted by the following Tuesday.

took a bit over two weeks for my finely successful attempt. i find writing a real challenge.

My first article only took a few days to post, and i thought that was strange (i thought that was too long). I thought it would be similar to reviews, so at most the next day (some of my reviews are longer than some articles). It was slightly edited though. By the time my next one posts, it might not be as relevant or even as reflective of my current opinions or situation. Oh well.
