  Almost all of the thousands of lap dances I've ever gotten have been topless and not nude. I've come to appreciate nude lappers, but not enough, in general, to pay $30 rather than $20 for them, as is the case in Chicagoland. At topless clubs I ask the dancer to take her top all the way off, rather than just pull her tits out, because I want to feel her bare back.   Well if you know me by know you know I have a thong fetish. So I actually prefer them to keep on their bottoms. But I thought I was probably the only guy in the world like that. I have to admit when I visited a nude club for the first time last month I felt weird as hell asking the girls to keep their bottoms on when dancing for me.   I don't mind topless at all. Sometimes in topless dances, the girls will slide their panties to the side, and let you get a upclose view of their kitty, sometimes even encourage FIV.   I've probably made my preference known before, but i'll say it again. Go nude or go home. Or skin to win. I get a better sensation of warmth, wetness and softness of the dancer's pussy when its bare against my pants and especially any part of my skin. And of course being very visual there's just no comparison between nude poses and thonged poses. Also at one of the clubs i frequent, there isn't a topless option for dances, or more specifically, you can get a topless dance, but it will still cost $30, so i better get the full monty and the full treatment if i'm paying full price.

  Historically, all I really cared about is that they were topless. But then I discovered some clubs with nude lap dances, so I got spoiled. Since I moved and cut back on visits, I mostly don't care anymore.

  Since I primarily club in NJ, the lap dances are primarily clothed. However, there are many dancers who immediately drop their top in the privacy of LD rooms. There are fewer dancers who remove (or pull aside) their thong. If the dancer can work her body so I get more and more aroused - the amount of clothing won’t matter. I’ll get off on the way she moves against me.

I actually find the bikini bars where they dont remove anything to be more erotic and arousing than topless or nude dances, on average. I think the dancers know they have to make up for the lack of nudity and providing more sensuous dances is one way of doing that.

  I guess if people are used to doing topless (or worse) dances only, that becomes their standard. I started right away with nude dances (although mostly air or low contact) and that is what i'm used to and what i look for. When i go to a topless place or a nude place but the girl leaves on the thong (or takes a long time to remove it), it just really irritates or frustrates me, like i'm not getting a real dance. I could compare it to sex with a condom on IRL or in porn. For me psychologically it seems more real when she gets naked and there's nothing more lovely than a beautiful woman fully naked and nice skin feels so much more wonderful and organic than any fabric.

  Sometimes dances are really table dances, not booth dances. This is common when our underground Mexican bar circuit is running. Nominally it is bikini. But sometimes there is flashing and a great deal of pawing. Sometimes tops come off. Sometimes girls can get face up on all fours on your chair, and offer pussy in face, sometimes uncovered. And at one of the places they were doing front room full service. So it can be good. A much more free flowing place than where they charge a set fee for booths and back rooms. The girls are really fun to engage with that way, just feeding them money, but with no set agreements. I had read that their used to be a place Cha Cha's in Chicago. Sounded very similar.   Her leaving her bottoms-on is not a big-deal especially if it's a small g-string - if she's wearing full-bottoms then it does bother me. I like seeing and feeling flesh, not fabric - thus a dancer w/ her top-on or pasties does bother and frustrate me to the point I may not get as many dances. Full-nude vs topless is not a huge difference to me - I don't really think about it - in Miami lap-dances are topless only but floor-dances are full-nude - in the small black clubs I hit it's mostly floor-dances so they are usually full-nude but w/ the high-contact/mileage (whereas in the mixed-clubs the nude floor-dances are usually less-contact/mileage) - in the black clubs I hit some girls don't feel comfortable grinding full-nude and that's fine w/ me (I prefer a good g-string grind than a mild nude-grind) - I don't recall ever asking a dancer to remove her bottom if she had it on. Having said this I do get a bit more turned-on when they remove their bottoms and are completely nude; IDK if it's the sight of her been full-nude that turns me on or just the act of her getting full-nude that turns me on (i.e. when I see her just whip-off her bottoms makes me think she's more naughty and less-inhibited).

  I think that the more contact that is allowed, the less important the coverage rule actually is. If it is strict no touching, like at the San Jose Pink Poodle, then full nudity is everything. But if it is all petting and pawing, like it often is in our underground circuit, then the coverage level is far less important. Usually very low lighting too. And the best, when you can get highly front room friendly with a girl, front room makeout session, then coverage is not really important at all. You can get her heated up to the boiling point, and then you can undress her yourself. Either undress her right there, or in the back room, or in your own bedroom. SJG

  Love to see the different preferences and viewpoints in this thread. I guess that's why it's important for a club to have some variety in everything I guess.   "Pasties are not attractive to me." I agree. Pasties are the worst. They are sort of in-between topless and bikini but has no advantage of either. At topless bars you get nipples. Meanwhile at the bikini bars the dancers know they arent topless and know how to entertain in other ways. For w/e reason the girls seem to think and act like they are completely "topless" at pastie clubs. And yet the most important part is covered up!   Pasties are not good because they are held on with glue. A tee-shirt is better, even though it shows less skin. And of girls in shopping malls, the best is when they are braless, but this is rare.
