A new invasion?

Have you ever tried to stick a silver dollar into a stripper's G-string?
Puerto Ricans and others from Caribbean islands destroyed by hurricanes this year are arriving at the US mainland by the thousands.

Does this mean turf wars in strip clubs between Cuban and PR dancers? Or will this just double the pudgy and annoying "wanna dans" drive-by's?

Sinclair has made the most cogent remark on this thread so far. If we hadn't picked a fight with sickly old Spain in 1898, so that we could have our own little empire, Puerto Rico would have become an independent country rather than a "commonwealth" (i.e. colony) of the United States.
But at least we got Guam out of the deal!
For w/e reason I don't run into many PR dancers in Miami (probably a good amount in NYC or maybe they don't dance in large #s since some reviews I've read of PR SCs say often times they have lots of Dominicans (since DR and PR are close and many DR people enter PR illegally)).
Anyway - in my limited experience I've found PR dancers, and PR folks in general, pretty chill and laidback and they love to have a good time and make sure you are also having a good-time - of the Latinas, I've found Colombians and PR girls chill - the worst IME have been Cubans and DR girls (money hungry ROBs) - Venezuelans are not bad but also have not met many Venezuelan dancers for w/e reason even though the Venezuelan community has exploded in Miami (specifically the suburb of Doral)
As for Latina dancers, I have enjoyed many lappers from Mexican and Cuban chicks and at least one each from a Venezuelan and a Puerto Rican. I must say, I enjoyed all of 'em! When people make elaborate distinctions among the various Latin American cultures, I'm reminded of this exchange between Don Cheadle (as Graham) and Jennifer Esposito (as Ria) in "Crash" (2004):
Ria: You want a lesson? I'll give you a lesson. How 'bout a geography lesson? My father's from Puerto Rico. My mother's from El Salvador. Neither one of those is Mexico.
Graham: Ah. Well then I guess the big mystery is, who gathered all those remarkably different cultures together and taught them all how to park their cars on their lawns?
Oh no! Does relating that conversation make me a bigot, too? LMAO
I am in favor of America shedding all territories and protectorates. The socialists and trolls just can't understand that the nanny state is just not sustainable. That's a big part of the reason why Puerto Rico was a disaster even before the storm.
As for the Hispanic cultures, I have found Puerto Ricans living in the US to be haughty and narcissistic. That's simply my experience. My wife spent a few months in Puerto Rico as an exchange fellow from Brown. She agrees that PRs living in the US have a chip on their shoulder, but she found the people in Puerto Rico to be incredibly outgoing and friendly.
I'm not explicitly aware of having received a dance from a Puerto Ricana. Cubans and Venezuelans who were average or nremarkable. I donrecall a
The point of the original post, and maybe Papi can help explain this, is that there is a lot of friction, passive aggressiveness, and frequently hostility between Cubans and PRs. With so many PRs coming to the country with no jobs, no homes, and no money, it is easy to assume that many will turn to the fastest income they can find; as so many immigrants have. But I predict that cliques of Cubans and PRs will form in many clubs, and this could have entertaining or explosive results.

I am not aware of friction b/w Cubans and PRs, but then again there isn't a large PR community in SoFlo as there seems to be in NYC.
The friction I'm more aware-off is b/w lower social economic white Americans and black Americans whom have seemingly lost-out to immigrants when it comes to low-skill jobs and they seem to recent foreigners changing their way of life and livelihood, which is understandable IMO.
If that was in reference to my last-post, if you read it carefully I did not say PRs are foreigners
As far as rivalries, Everybody hates everybody. Caribbean/Central Americans hate south americans. South Americans look down on Caribbean/central americans. Every non-Cuban in Miami hates Cubans. Cubans hate central americans. South Americans hate in particular Argentines. Nicaraguans & Costa Ricans hate each other. Nobody hates Mexicans though. Everyone loves Mexicans. Except when you call a Central American and Mexican, then the blood boils.
But one thing I will say, the ones I met were pretty feisty. Talking back with attitude was the rule with most of the ones I’ve met.
I do wish we were a little less bigoted about it though.
