Is $6K enough for you to rat out your fellow mongers? Or how much would you charge to do it?

"I realize that lawyers are brought up (probably from small children) to think that "technically true" is what matters, but when you make public PR statements, they should be more than "technically" true. They should be honest. There's a big fucking difference."

My guess is the dirty the P.I. found isn't really representative of what happens ITC most times with most dancers and customers. Also what a waste of county or city funds when infrastructure improvements are probably needed more.

Well I HAD Reno on my list of places to go for golf, gambling and girls..... guess I will just have to spend my money elsewhere.

Only $363 in expenses. If he didn't investigate the private rooms, then how would he know if there was an extras menu?

A big nothing burger. Someone is looking to get reelected.

Even if they do make new regulations for the city's clubbing patrons and dancers, are they going to increase patrol to enforce them? The City of Phoenix did the same thing in '99, and they have similar rules in place like Reno wants to adopt, but Phoenix remains as one of the nation's top strip club destinations because it's a waste of taxpayer dollars to enforce it.

So many old lonely dudes with urges for young ladies, that it makes sense for public safety standards to have these tame activities contained inside a strip club. This way the local municipality can capitalize on taxing revenues from the clubs, and underground sexual activity doesn't have to be done in places like back alleys, street walkers, back page, and speak easy brothels.

I think this is just a step for the local ordinances to come down hard on certain businesses that don't comply to unwritten codes of behavior, then at least they have a rule book (law) in place to take action against them.

I'm in the wrong job. I should be using government money to go clubbing too.

That's a waste of tax dollars. Was the $363 for a trip to one club - so the investigator could post a review here - and then check out the full reviews of the Reno clubs?

As was mentioned, this sounds like a "look at me" attention grabbing move by a pol looking to get reelected or move up the ladder.

Strip Club Investigation, Day 1: At approximately 1900 hours, this investigator entered the Eager Beaver -- an subtle allusion, this investigator suspects, to the female performers' vaginas, and their relatively welcoming state to those who enter this establishment. This investigator paid an entrance fee ($20, charged to city), and was summarily approached by a "waitress", with whom I placed an order of Dr Pepper, and was informed that that particular libation was unavailable. This investigator subsequently ordered a Coca Cola ($8, charged to city). This investigator was subsequently approached by performer Cayenne (white, DD, very large child-bearing hips, suspect not her real name), who inquired as to this investigator's knowledge of the club, and proceeded to sit on this investigator's lap. This investigator's penis became partially erect, a clear violation of city ordinance. Performer "Cayenne" then invited this investigator to the lap dance area, in a way that connoted that performer Cayenne had developed a bit of a crush on this investigator. Upon reaching the lapdance room, performer Cayenne sat on this investigator and wiggled around, in such a way that this investigator's penis became fully erect; shortly thereafter, this investigator had an orgasm in his pants. This investigator paid performer Cayenne the required fee for the lapdance ($20, charged to city), a reasonable tip ($200, charged to city).

This investigator spent one hour in the club ($300/hour fee, charged to city), and had incidental charges ($30 drycleaning, charged to city). This investigator plans to continue the investigation tomorrow, after obtaining equipment required to perform a more thorough investigation ($80 Viagra, charged to city).

Followup: performer Cayenne has definitely developed feelings for this investigator, has texted this investigator details about how she misses this investigator, also transmitting photographs of both her buttocks and pubic areas, including vaginal and anal areas ($20 technology fee, charged to city).

How would a club survive these regulations?

"new ordinances would limit strip club performances to the stage only." Who wants to go to a club that only offers stage shows?

"proposed new restrictions that would prohibit patrons from touching or directly tipping strippers" Even if you could find customers to go to a stage show only club, what dancer would work at a club where you can't tip the dancer? Especially if they can't make money from selling dances?

There was some good info in the article though. Seven clubs were investigated and alleged sex acts occur at these clubs. However, "three Reno strip clubs denied such activity happens." Does that mean the other four don't deny sex acts happen in their clubs?

If this is true I wonder why Reno didn't have a better reputation on this board.

I think there's only a handful of clubs in Reno. Small enough town where people are knowing other people's business, and local politics are probably dictating who wants who around.
