Ouch! That sucks. I generally go commando but have never run into this issue. I wear comfortable shorts that are soft but do have a zipper. Anybody else run into this issue or is this an anomaly?

Even w/ underwear best to not use zipper, for your comfort, and for hers - no need to have that piece of metal in b/w her butt/coochie and your wiener.
When I first started SCing I always wore kakis - after a couple of years I started going command but still wearing kakis and I learned the hardaway that is not a good combo - these days I SC commando and zipperless but even if I wore underwear I'd still avoid a zipper.

As I typically club in AZ where it is pretty much hot as hell all the time I'll start wearing zipper less shorts. Now I have a phobia against zippers. Ha ha I ended up going to the Doc for this.
