Currently watching the Tigers baseball game while lounging at the pool, drinking beer.

Later, I'm going to have some hot dogs, apple pie and wash my Chevrolet.

Can't get more American than that if I tried...

    God Bless America.

Is today the best day for our hobby over there, or are clubs too busy?

Hiked the wilds of Pinellas County (one of the most urbanized ... or should I say, "suburbanized"? ... regions of our entire nation). Roughly the diagonal, as the crow flies, from Atlantis to Oz, within a mile of each, around all the containment lakes and ditches and other water diversion systems surrounding the Honeywell plant and area. Squirrels, rabbits, one or two clear signs of raccoons (but it's mid-day, they're mostly nocturnal), cranes, storks, of course the usual egrets and herons and ibises, and I found what looks to me to be an otter-slide and den, but I didn't stick around to find out. Will come back tomorrow!

Oh, forgot, Pinellas County is in Tampa Bay region, West coast of Florida, sorry. :)

Londonguy, the 4th of July is not a good day for strip clubs. Most dancers and customers will be too busy eating hot dogs and setting off firecrackers to go to the clubs. You would understand if you had a 4th of July in England. :)
