My casual drinking is your alcohol poisoning.

    Trump was elected.

Sorry, jackslash, Obama was a bigger statement on some peoples' desire for an inflexible omnipotent nanny state than Trump could ever be.
Trump was actually a statement as antithesis to Obama. It's not a statement I made, but the government pulled the pendulum so far to the left that when it swung back it hit them.square in the right nut.
However, I am talking about socialists. The anarchic communist racists who laughably claim to be anti-fascist while taking away other peoples' first amendment rights. The bums who want me and other producers to pay for their healthcare, their student loans, their welfare and food stamps. Self-reliance as an avenue to self-realization has become too rare.

Few people alive today actually remember when the US was an actual free state. It's been heading fascist since WW II, if not before.

For those of you who have trouble wading through @GammaNut's garbled English and goofy, pretentious, multi-syllable words, he's trying to say that he resents having his taxes go to lazy poor poor people. Ya know, the "porch monkeys" he talks about on a regular basis.

Without getting too political, @GammaNut, you should really enroll in your local community college beginning writing class. The tuition is state-subsidized (which you probably object to), but the upside is that TUSCL members will stop laughing at you.

I wonder if they make a condom large enough to stuff gramma nut case in and flush it. That would be a return to those good ole days that would satisfy everyone here.

The name of the fascist breeding ground in the United States is Berkeley.

A liberal university that literally attacks and tries to kill anyone they disagree with, while rioting and looting. There are not vile enough words to describe them, nor a limit to the shame they should feel

"Liberal institutions immediately cease to be liberal as soon as they are attained: later on, there are no worse and no more thorough injurers of freedom than liberal institutions."

Berkley took Nietzsche's comment on abstracts and paradigms and built a brick and mortar school that literally embodies it.

"U.S. News and World Report released its annual college rankings and University of California at Berkeley was the number one ranked public university in the country for the 19th year in a row."

UC Berkeley’s graduate programs in chemistry, computer science, English, history and sociology — as well as 24 specialty programs — received first-place rankings, though tying with some other universities in certain categories. In 2014, UC Berkeley ranked No. 1 for English, history and sociology.

UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering was ranked third in the nation, maintaining its 2014 standing, with MIT and Stanford University at first and second, respectively.

#9 rated law school. Did you go to a top-ten law school, @SkiBirther?

For me, May Day is the fertility rite of spring. It has nothing to do with Trump, socialism or politics. You guys should try dancing outside naked; weather permitting.

Gammanu95, after your first post I thought you were referring to the capitalists who like to deal with oppressive communist governments so they can make a cheap buck.

    Random: "#9 rated law school."

Didn't Nina say that U of Michigan was #8 for law? So it's ahead of Berkley? (Although ranking law programs is about as relevant as ranking art history programs, IMO.)

You're a University of Chicago grad? That explains everything. No one can be so far lost to the left without being brainwashed and indoctrinated by the best. I nearly went there, until I learned what they were all about and realized that I would never ever want to be affiliated with such an awful place. No disrespect to you personally, but they are a PERFECT illustration of everything wrong with middle America, just as Berkley is the PERFECT illustration of everything wrong with west coast liberals.

What we have is corporate controlled government, elections being bought by money, and most of the people patting themselves on the back for making money, are doing so by manipulating the government.

How old are you, gaymanu? University of Chicago was renowned as THE hotbed for Laissez Faire economists and right wing politics. It would be perfect for a person like you (provided you added about 60 IQ points - in which case, however, there is a 98% chance you would drop all your current beliefs).

"freedom, representative government, and self-determination were fashionable? "

gammanu95, first I want to commend you for wanting to talk about your political views, but without letting this get out of the civil realm and without it degenerating to trolling. So what I say, I mean with all due respect.

It sounds like you are endorsing a Libertarian Anti-Government position. Problem with that is that it only protects property rights. Living in our society is much more complex than that, and then when there are other problems, property rights really do not matter much.

gammanu95, no disrespect, but I don't really get why you posted this.

At the state level most governments are controlled by republicans. Both of the elected branches of the federal government are in republican hands.

Obama is out. I don't see why it is worth complaining about him. If you are going to complain about or praise about a president or a political party it seems like there is one party to focus on. The one in power.

    Very good point, 4got.

    This is America.

Remember, the French don't even have a word for Entrepreneur.

And Worker's Day is for Communists.

We Celebrate CEO's Day, and we celebrate it at Strip Clubs.

No, you don't get why I posted this. I'm not complaining about the government. I'm complaining about liberals, progressives, left-wing fascists, racebaiters, hatemongers, social justice losers, commies, the DNC, snowflakes, small minded liberal educators, et al.

Gamm...why is it so hard for for conservatives to have a polite conversation? Ah...because they are uneducated...?
  • rockstar666
What's a "liberal"? To me it's someone who respects the rights of women, non-white races, people of non heterosexual orientation, and all religions.

Whatever else conservatives think is really a case by case basis. But "case by case" seems too difficult for them to understand, so the broad brush comes out in a senseless rant about how elite colleges are bad for our country. Kind of depressing actually.

@GammaFuckingNut strings together multi-syllable words in meaningless, run-on, sentences but never manages to say anything.

But three cheers to the conservatives for ramming down a health-care bill through the house without any scoring from the CBO. A bill that will throw at least 24M people off their health insurance and give about a trillion dollars in tax cuts to the wealthy. Way to go GOP !!!! I wonder when these clueless working-class white guys (like @GammaNut) will realize that their health care is being taken away?

    Rockstar,
Your first comment: Completely hypocritical and factually false. Shame on you.
Your second comment, continuing with the hypocrisy and factual misstatements; however, like I commented on JS69s post- it helps to remember how astonishingly few shared experiences there actually are when trying to understand all of our different paradigms and beliefs.
Your passive-aggressive comments do help to prove that liberals are, by far, more hateful and less tolerant than republicans. That is also proven time and again in and by the behaviors of politicians and others on the ruling class and media.

"Remember when freedom, representative government, and self-determination were fashionable? Where the hell did we go wrong?"

You have a Republican Senate, House, President and a conservative SC. If that's not enough for you, maybe you need to start voting for some Democrats.

LOL! Actually @GammaNut is at his most intelligible when he's talking about "porch monkeys," "Chinks," or complaining about how LGBTs have a "genetic defect." Then there's the remainder of his posts where you just don't know WTF he's trying to say. He's a perfect example of what stupid people think smart people sound like.

You are being purposefully dense. This post is about May Day rioters, not the government. This un-American "resistance" which hides their faces behind masks and attack unarmed people. Shame on them, and shame on you for attempting to distract.
  • san_jose_guy

gammanu95, many of us are completely opposed to Donald Trump. Angela Davis called for non-stop resistance until he is out. You understand this.

But about May day, based on your previous posts, sounds like you would rather celebrate CEO's Day, or Entrepreneur's Day. True? Which would it be and what would you see as being important about it?
