I live in a small town (thank god I travel for work and am only 1 hour from a metro area) but I've lived here most of my life, so there's a lot of familiar faces around.
Today I was actually in town and ran into a grocery store, absolutely floored as I saw a near 10 MILF, blonde hair, with a short dress on, drawing a fine line between professional and slutty, and freaking leather thigh high boots. I almost came in my pants, but what was stranger was I think I knew her. Sure enough, she walks by me and says "hi shailynn" (real name protected) and yep, I sure did know her, and what a transformation she had made.
I remember seeing her probably a year ago with 3 kids in tow and average mom body. Not fat but certainly not thin either. I remember her from all the way back to junior high, a nice but total nerd, I don't even remember ever seeing her wear a dress or makeup. She was the type of girl who would wear khakis and a fun Friday night for her was probably watching Star Trek. She didn't look any different when I saw her a year ago, but oh god has she changed. Her whole demeaner has changed as well as she walks with confidence now and I can see why.
Even though this is a small town we've been bombarded with cross-fit gyms the past few years and I'd imagine she's joined one, either that or she won a makeover contest they put on the radio every winter.
That's one thing I've noticed growing older. In high school you were either hot or not. Today, all the girls that had big boobs in high school are huge (their bodies caught up with their boobs), the majority of the hot girls didn't hold up so well 20 years later, and so many plain Janes who quietly went away to college have found themselves somewhere along the past 20 years and now are all of a sudden hot.
I believe women's looks peak somewhere, it could be in their teens, college age, or even as late as their 50s, it's rare to see someone whose hotness is timeless.
