Your SC standard by which you judge other SCs

Spearmint Rhino Las Vegas, and 4 Play in LA. Hottest group of strippers I've ever seen. Of course the mileage ain't great at these clubs, but I judge clubs by how hot the girls are. Mileage ain't the biggest thing in the world to me, if I really want mileage I'll take it OTC.

I don't consciously compare clubs, I take them for what they are - if I enjoy them I enjoy them, if I don't I don't.

For me I'd say Baby Dolls Dallas is how I think a strip-club should be ran - nice facilities, good sized, lots of dancers, professional staff, no thug factor, good value & no nickel-and-diming, friendly girls, good mileage - not extras-heavy but that may actually take away from it as IMO heavy-extras clubs tend to often be seedy.

^^ ya, agreed! IN fact, that reminds me, MBOT was simultaneously extras-friendly, and one of the higher-end clubs in the city. Figure that one out :)

In addition, staff was completely invisible. MBOT "bouncers" have always melted into the woodwork, almost never interacting with customers in any way (and why would they? no real rules on touching and extras). Ditto the DJ, who just played whatever the girls told him to before their set

Don't worry, just as soon as they invent a time-machine we'll be enjoying MBOT at its peak again - not all is lost

Like Papi I don't really compare clubs against a gold standard. I take them as they come, both good and bad. The good far outweighs the bad, thank goodness.

Certainly no MBOT but the Memphis Platinum Plus was the club that I compared mileage to. Got my first ever BBBJ ITC 90 minutes after a vice raid. Now of course it has been topped.

I have no gold standard except memories of fun moments in fun clubs before they got shut down or closed for one reason or another. What I have never seen is a whole lot of 8's, 9's and 10's and lots of extras easily available in the same club. My memory isn't the best though. A dancer recognized me last night but I couldn't remember her. She said I looked the same as she remembered. Light must have been dim. I thought I looked a few years older.

I'm in the same group of not really comparing. Then again I go to "upscale" and "dive" clubs. I was in San Francisco in 1983 for most of the year. Sadly I never ventured into MBOT.

Palomino in Las Vegas:

1. Second club I ever visited
2. Club I visited the most, by far
3. Fully nude + alcohol (rare in some places)
4. Young girls, many under 21
5. No overt extras, but there from a few if you build rapport. Not important for me as I don't do ITC.
6. Some aggression, but less than other Vegas clubs
7. Some, but fewer, will meet OTC, after some rapport
8. Staff has always been great

Like a number of others here, I take things as they come and have had a great time at many a club even though maybe the girls weren't the prettiest, or extras weren't available, or something else about the club or the visit wasn't just perfect. If you have high expectations every time you enter a new club, you're bound to be disappointed more often than not. That said, Follies has spoiled me, with its low or non-existent cover (during the day, at least), pretty and diverse women who give low-cost, high-mileage dances (which are plentifully available during the day), reasonable VIP costs, an unobtrusive staff and non-ego-driven DJs. But I am still shaking my head about the three visits in four days I made to Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club in Tijuana in November, 2014. Day or night, every single girl there was someone's "9" or "10" and for one dollar you could do more with pretty much any one of them than you can do in at least 50% of the clubs in the states. And that's just for starters. I guess for me, the standard boils down to value -- Just what am I getting for my money?

For me, Tootsies. If I'm at a club, the question i ask myself is, should I just have gone to tootsies. If the answer is no, then that is a club worth going to. A club doesn't have to have more girls or more space than Tootsies (very few clubs could match it in this regard), it just has to do something better than tootsies or do something that tootsies doesn't do. If a club doesn't hit that mark, then I should have just gone to tootsies.

I was in Sanfrancisco between 2000 and 2004.Always thinking to visit MBOT.But I was a student that time and not matures enough to go to a club of that kind. MBOT was notorious it was king of all strip clubs.It can't be called regular strip club. There was sex in open for everybody to watch. I missed it. Delilahs philadelphia is the best I have seen so far. Pretty girls, girl next door kind girls,full contact dances , nice staff, nice week day buffet,huge club.

No, I would not say I have a gold standard. I've clubbed all over the USA, from the glitz of Tootsies, the historic Olympic Gardens, the shitholes with extreme extras available. My favorite club in Detroit, Players Club in the 90's had stunningly beautiful dancers wearing formal wear for the initial group dance on stage. In the 90's only table dances were going on, but when you are in a booth and the dancer is right on you with the table in the booth in back of her, it was heady stuff. That was my early introduction into up close personal dancing.

I agree with the folks who just roll wit it. I keep things in check and I try to keep things in a proper perspective in terms of club visits. When I have a crazy good experience at a club I try not to get my hopes up too high the next time because every visit can't be crazy good, especially when you are seeking new girls all the time (no CF or ATF) or new clubs. Same with lousy visits. I always try to give a club another chance before pulling it out of my rotation. It's best to just go with the flow and hope for the best.

There is no real standard I compare to, or at least club that is so far above all the others the others need to bow down to it. Every club I ever liked did something well, but also did something poorly. Besides, if I do what my friend does, which is compare every club he ever goes to to the clubs in Tampa when he was at MacDill AFB in the 1990's, all I would be doing is setting myself up for disappointment every time.

I have no standard. If I were to compare them to my halcyon days of my teens, I'm be disappointed today. So I try to go, have fun, and use the club for the specific purpose of supplementing my other hobbies and interests. Sure, "stamp collecting" is fun. But "collecting stamps" or most over civvie hobbies can only do so much. There's something about live adult entertainment that can't be replicated in civvie hobbies, at least for me. There's where clubbing fills that small gap. Plus clubbing it a little reward I use for my hard work so far, and the better half does agree.

I am just looking to engage / play with some scantily clad women, have some drinks, and a little fun. Then return to my life refreshed, recharged, and hitting the ground running. For us (the wife and me) it's about the end result. Also my visits are spaced so far apart (2-4 months) so I need to have it make sense and it fit in my life in order for me to continue.

There is just something about the reaction of testosterone in a man's body when he engages with near naked women in a sexually-charged environment. It fixes anything that is pent-up inside me and it removes any grumpiness or funk I have. I know my wife appreciates my mood after I return from a club visit so that's why the trips are mutually beneficial for our relationship.

^^^ As long as I can accomplish that for reasonable family $$ expenditure and and few hours time expenditure -- that's my standard these days. It's more of the end result than the journey.

I tend to compare them all against the one that started it all for me in Ft. Erie. Don't remember the name after almost 40 years, and none of the current names are ringing a bell.

Over time, the standards have changed as one might expect. These days, a small low intensity club. One where I can sit and enjoy my Jack or beer, observe the ladies, and without constant interruptions.

a place where they say welcome when I enter. The occasional interesting conversation with the barmaid or a dancer is a plus. A DJ that you really don't even know is there. No high pressure "wanna dance" "buy the lady a drink" and assorted BS.

And a place that one can find that diamond in the rough.

This place is rare, but it will always have a place in my heart for one reason. That is the type of club where I found my ATF.

I develop favorites. So it's not the SC itself but the strippers that I compare. Now some clubs do have more of the type I like, but sometimes it's seasonal.
