That said... I've finally excepted that I can't vote for Donald Trump. The man lacks any sens of decorum or dignity. I do not trust someone who is apparently incapable of controlling their mouth or their actions for even a brief moment. Someone like that has no business being at the helm of our government or our military.
Can I vote for Hillary? I don't think so, but I'm not sure. Voting for someone I don't believe in because I don't like the other guy runs contrary to my beliefs.

If trump could have just talked about how his policies will revive coal jobs while hillaries will increase the utility bill of almost every American by making us all pay more by eliminating the cheapest source of energy we have been using for decades hurting the poorest and middle class more than the rich, it's like a hidden regressive tax on the poor and middle class.
She says her goal is no new taxes on the middle class in public but in private she says she is ok with adding taxes on guns, ammo, sugar in your drinks, etc, all taxes that hit theropod and middle class. It must be all a joke to Hillary. She wants to ban all guns and has said so that if she could she would, next up will be people's retirement accounts and anywhere else you have money because if you aren't poor, you are rich with a socialist system.
If republicans keep the house, she may start off trying to negotiate. I gave up on the chance trump might win. The only way I see that is if almost everyone stays home except for all the trump supporters.
I read on another sight that two or three years ago Hillary was in favor of open borders I. The Americas just like Europe has. Drug cartels from Mexico, criminals etc would all be able to freely travel to the us and back. Hillary thinks open borders is a great idea. It has worked so well for Europe with Syrians and refugees flooding all over. Minus the extra crime and terrorism.

I'm all for guns, but the NRA is a gun lobby for gun manufacturers, plain and simple. So follow the money. I agree. Buy guns. Invest in gun companies. I have a hard time getting behind Mr. Trump. Plus the GOP needs to sign some common sense immigration legislature. Many of the Latin American immigrants are natural GOP supporter -- hard working, immigrants, all for Traditional Marriage and religion. So the line that immigrants == liberals on the 'dole and welfare is probably not accurate. Many could be natural GOP supporters, but instead, Mr. Trump takes the hard line. Odd.
And personally, I just can no longer get behind social conservationism, at least not forcing one's social views on another. If that means adopting Clinton and her fiscal policies, so be it. It's not my first choice.

Dominic us old guys are not on the dole, we paid into Social Security and Medicare all of our lives, That is our money that was withheld from our paychecks, and it must be paid back.

I also have no issue with welfare ... as long as people get off it it. Welfare kings and welfare queens do suck. But social safety nets are nice. At least until savings rates improve and people can largely self-fund their OWN safety nets. That's the best solution. (that's assuming reasonable behavior and people living within their means and spending responsibly, of course.

But there are a lot of good, honest people who do work hard, pay into the system, but have a rough patch and can use the safety nets from time to time. There are some honest people who fall into that.

I prefer fiscal conservatism and have been registered GOP since 18 and have all of the GOP souvenirs from the shop when we went to /Washinton DC for 12th grade government class. For the NRA. Look at their stance on the "assault rifles." I'm not saying assault rifles are bad nor are they that great.
