  I was gonna post something similar... don't want to hijack the thread, but what about BBBJ? Many seem to talk all cavalier like there's no risk. I ventured down that route for the first time... and was so freaked out for weeks I eventually went and got checked (clean bill of health).
  
  But now I find myself wondering if its worth freaking out about every time... or if using a cover is better (which of course really diminishes the enjoyment of a BJ). I'm referring to with the same girl, not new ones.

  Well I was fckn stupid damn near two years ago when I first moved out here. Had unprotected sex with a skank of a stripper vaginal and anal. I was just super desperate at the time.

  I'm no doctor; but I've never heard anyone getting something serious that won't go away b/c of oral sex - in fact as I recall back in the 80s and 90s at the peak of the AIDS crisis it was suggested to engage in oral sex rather than intercourse (if I remember correctly).
  
  
  You said you are gonna start going uncovered; so why are worried if you haven't gone uncovered yet - getting tested and fearing the worst it's pretty-normal IMO.
  
  I would assume she's getting tested also for your protection and ease of mind.
  
  w.r.t. Zika - it's not gonna kill you - most people that get-it never know-it and the virus only stays in the body a few days - some people get flu-like symptoms that go away - the major issue is for pregnant women or those planning to conceive.

  Gawker, you are bold man. My hypochondria and anxieties know no bounds. I'm nervous to kiss a new girl I start dating, that I might get HPV or something... I think I read 1 in 4 people have it or so.
  
  To the others, thanks for the comments. I'm going to see this girl again, very soon. This will be our second rendezvous and I'm seriously considering wrapping up for BJ's (FS isn't on the table, both her rules and mine). She'll probably think it odd, and that we are regressing, seeing as I didn't the first time around, but the weeks after seeing her, before getting myself tested, were absolute torture. Not sure if I'm just ultra safe, or have a very overactive imagination. Any thoughts are welcome, as always.

  You can get HPV ( Human Papillary Virus) from Oral sex but not everyone who gets ever has symptoms. Your risk is low but if it makes you anxious cover up buy all means.

  I fucked the DS bareback for almost two years. Also fucked DS II and III bareback. I've also had lots of blowjobs from strippers, including the blowjob queen who lets several guys cum in her mouth every night at work. In all of that I have never caught anything.
  
  I did have one scare though. The DS called me earlier this year and told me she had chlamydia. I know who the guy is who gave it to her. It's very contagious, and given how thoroughly intimate we are with each other, .I figured there was about a 100 percent chance that I caught it.   I've told my symptomless dancer-chlamydia story before (although that idiot @Deuce filibustered the thread).
  
  Condoms are not 100% effective (only 30 to 50 percent effective for HSV and 80% for HIV). So fucking 50 strippers per year with a condom is probably more dangerous than having one partner you can trust if your're both tested. These discussions are always irrational and full of angst.
