How do I find the underground Mexican Hat Dance scene in San Jose?

Semi serious. Going to San Jose for work. The clubs there look truly awful. Should I just try a regular bar and see if I can get my dick wet on civvy pussy? Maybe even try Tinder?

Pay the money and use the city browse addition where you can change your location. I do that days in advance of somewhere I'm gonna be. I have more luck in smaller towns. It kinda reminds me of "fresh meat for sharks" when I log on in a small town, luckily I'm the meat!!! Keep in mind, over half the girls that "like" you never actually intend on meeting you, but all it takes is 1 that's willing, to have some fun!

The Underground Mexican Bar Table Dancing Circuit comes and goes. And also, San Jose has torn down many of the bars it operated in. But you can still try to find it and you might also find some decent hookers in the bars. They can take care of you while you wait until the show night.
The Hanky Panky in Redwood City has always been nice. Still zero touching, but most of the Latinas do OTC.
The AMPs are good, but much better in San Francisco. Use rubmaps and it's advanced search, plus window shopping. Most of these places will give you FS, sometimes GFE-FS, with no problem and economically.
Some of the girls in San Jose's Pink Poodle do OTC, and in the Sunnyvale Bikini Bars, now just two, some of them do.
As far as finding the Mexican Bar Circuit, remember that it usually is just for a few hours per week. That is enough to rake in all the available money, then they drive to another bar. But the vast majority of the girls in that circuit do OTC continually.
So just start going into Mexcan Bars and politely asking questions about "BIkini Show" or "Table Dancing". Also notice any hookers. You want stand along bars, not ones with family restaurants.

There are other bars, East and South. If you just go into places and don't mind driving around in an unfamiliar city, you will find them. But I suspect that if you really are serious about this you will probably find that Watsonville, Monterey, and Salina are better. San Jose is in the middle of a decades long gentrification war.

Thanks for all the feedback, serious and otherwise. It will just be for a couple of weekday nights. No trips up to SF for me, which is too bad, I have some friends up there.
I'll almost certainly just try the civvy route, probably a mix of Tinder and maybe a bar. The company I'm visiting has 2 or 3 employees on site, so a hook up through there is unlikely.
If either of the SJGs actually want to meet for Vietnamese coffee or something, I'd be game. I haven't nailed down the dates 100% yet, but it should be this month.
