Back on ignore
I'm putting the Haitian guy on Ignore for eating it that way
NBC on ignore for putting obscure events on cable TV only.
Yeah, he bit the hurdle big time and tumbled. I felt bad for him.
Was he nervous and forgot to jump?
Dafne Schippers in the 200m

Dafne looks juiced, chick looks like an outside linebacker - no way can a white-chick be that fast w/o being juiced, IMO
Papi the racist. You're on ignore!!! ;-)
Another Jamaican wins a sprint - juice crew
And in typical Jamaican fashion, he won-it going away
Anyone have a link to a vid of that race?
^ you'll probably have to wait till tomorrow to see a vid of it
Falling over a hurdle is no small thing. The first time I tried hurdling, I caught my trading foot and went down - on a cinder track. I picked small stones out of my skin for a week on that one lol. On the Olympic track, I'd say a fairly bad friction burn would be likely.
The Haitian guy wasn't even close & got all tangled-up with the hurdle
In high school, Juice just ran right through them
My tall, slim Russian long jumper made the finals but NBC didn't show it. Bastards.
I saw some weightlifting early in the evening. I'm intrigued that all the elite lifters come from the same general area around the Caspian and Black Seas.
Armenia, Georgia, Estonia, Iran. and all the "stan" counties.
I've noticed in this Olympics just how much each area of the world excel in different sports.
Weight lifters as noted Sprinters from the U.S. and Caribbean Islands Distance runners from East Africa Swimmers are generally whites from the U.S., Australia, and Europe Sports involving hand-eye coordination are usually Esst Asian Gymnastics are US, Eastern Europe and China
The debate over whether its cultural or evolutionary & genetics fascinates me .

I guess this thread only applies to those in the Eastern time zone
