Strippers Finding Religion

As I was perusing Facebook recently, I noticed a few of strippers and one escort quoting scripture and praising God on their timeline. One stripper is close to being a ROB while the rest are currently not stripping or hooking as far as I know. The strippers all have done extras in and out of the club. Being the cynical SOB that I am, I find this interesting to say the least. It's all good I guess if it is their way of coping with their past indiscretions. What think ye oh wise fellow members of the TUSCL club?

My retired ATF claimed to be religious, at least she talked about "God" a lot which in my mind made her a hypocrite because I knew what crazy shit she did in her daily life.
Other than her I haven't had any relationships with a religious stripper but have crossed paths with several inside of clubs.
8 Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. 3 As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.
4 “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”
6 They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. 7 They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”
John 8:1-11
The escort has offered to get with me many times but the religious postings are new.
This is what allows a catholic priest to go to heaven while the child he raped, who has turned away from God because of what He allowed, will go to hell.

CLIFF NOTES at BOTTOM lol
The reason most of you guys don’t understand how some one can be religious and still act out what most might consider sin.
First the majority of religions is based off works and I assume most of you hold to these views going off the comments that have been made. In this idea the good works need out balance the evil you do. So its not a life of avoiding sin although it is a sound stratigy. Technogly in a system such as this one coud just do sin and then go do a shit load of good works to in ecence pay off the evil one has done.
Going from the Abrahamic faiths in witch im a follower of the view is a lil different. Quick side not is what some see as contradictory ideas from a logic perspective of a finate person these paradoxes are fully accepted in the life of the believer that has deeply studied their bible. Second side not is there are many interpretations on the text so not all agree with all ideas thus I will share only my views as I have read the text myself.
I believe in Gods complete Justice. This means that all sin no matter how small or large, how gray or dark that sin is it will be punished. This makes since of the Hebrew bible that shows us the law of rights and wrongs and the concept of blessing and curse and life and death. God hates sin and must punish it all in his full wrath. In the new testament Jesus takes the law to the highest level. The law says if you do the sin you will be punished but jesus said if you think it you have already done it. The idea of this is to show just how sinful man is and how impossible it is for us to save ourselfs thus our need for the savior
The Christian bible declars that jesus lived the only sinless life and died on the cross for the sins of the world. The Christian book idea is to solve the issue of the perfect life thus jesus became the law perfect in flesh. His death was Gods full punishement of the sin of the world on to the lord Christ. For those that trust into jesuse the concept is this. You swape positions with him. His sinless life becomes yours and your sinful life becomes his. You getting punished for your evil is know jesus being punished for your sins. At the final judgment God will not see your sins but the perfect work of Christ. There is no hell for the beliver because the lord jesus went to hell for them thus satisfying Gods complete Justice.
God did this because not only is God fully Just but he is fully Love and Grace. God wants no one to go to hell, no one to be punished, no one to fell his wrath. So at this point salvation is not on your works but the perfect finished work of Christ. What does this mean ? well as the bible says as sin came through one man adam so did salvation come through christ.
See we view man as so depraved that we will never turn to god. We are stuck in our own ways and bond to our death beds. God for saw this and deceided to give grace and to bring all back to him
The only reason any one believes in God is because God open up his eyes. God Gives Faith to the unbeliever. What does this mean for the believer ? one we should fear god for his justice, thank god for his grace and view and act like god in the world. So instead of judging ppl or condemning them wither they believe or not sin or not. We should act in love and grace as god has done for us.
This is why you see ppl like me. I understand that god loves the sinner so much he found a way to satisfy his justice and still give love and grace to a unrepented and unbelieving ppl. This means in my life I should seek out these ppl and show them the love of god in my own life. So when ppl do evil to me I need to stop my wrath and give love and grace. Go buy my enemy a meal or a lap dance that will give him pleasure or happiness even if he meant to harm me.
See I believe in a few ideas that our logic cant comprehend.. Gods complete Justice and Gods complete Love…Mans complete free will and Gods complere Sovergnity.
CLIFF NOTES
I believe God will save us all from the rich to the poor, the sinful and sinless, the believer and unbeliever. Life came from god and will return to god.
Thus why I feel I have the freedom I do to live to my sinful pleasures and enjoy the earth and find a humbeling moment on my knees as I pray and thank the lord for his divine love and forgivness and to ask him to give me strength to act the same with my fellow brother
Love not judgment is the path of God and should be ours as well
God bless my brothers and tuscl
Yes, in one way it can seem odd that dancers would be religious - but it is often the case that people whom are struggling in an area(s) of life are the ones often more open and receptive to such a message.
Is that the case here?

Most humans have faith in something greater. That faith takes many forms including belief in a creator God. I do not have any proof that some form of Creator exists, or does not exist. I do have opinions on how a "God of Grace" would work, and those opinions do not differ much from the original concepts of ALL of the world's major religions.
IMHO, if there is a God, that God probably doesn't care what you do, how much money you make, or how many toys you have. The God of ALL probably doesn't care how intelligent, educated or wise you might be. This creator of all would likely be more interested in whether you are trying to be better than you were, but is equally unlikely to worry about how successful you are at being or staying better.
In this case, a stripper, or an escort, could be "godly" or religious if they made an effort to provide good service to their customers, took care of their responsibilities and made an effort to improve. In the eyes of this purported God, their vocation would matter less than their dedication and effort. The idea that sex is "sin" is not explicit in most religious texts (OK, some dude named Paul - or Saul - had some serious anti-sex hangups, but otherwise the majority of "religious" teachings focus on misuse of sex (adultery as breaking a promise, rape, incest) rather than argue sex itself is a sin..
I believe any rational examination of Hebrew texts, the original Greek "new" testaments of the followers of Jesus, the instructions written by the followers of Muhammad and assembled as a book of his "teachings," the wisdoms of Confucius, the teachings of the Llamas or the many forms of Krishna ALL assert that God wants us to be better, but it is our choice.not only in our faith, but in our way of expressing that faith.
Religion is a very human attempt to explain the unexplainable, reconcile our broken world with hope for a better tomorrow. The ugly use of religion as a hammer to beat on other people is also human. The Hebrew books tell of a need to treat the splinter in your own eye before addressing the mote in someone else eye. As pointed out above, Jesus suggested that stoning an adultress was OK only if the stoner was himself without any sin. (by the way, the Greek word translated as "sin" actually means "miss the mark" as in shooting an arrow in competition and missing the bullseye - so sin for a Christian is really just a matter of getting a little off track) Mohammad supposedly instructed a delinquent young man to seek a more direct path to where he wants to go.
If God did not want men to go to strip clubs He wouldn't have created us with dick that get hard when we see tits! Say a prayer of thanks the next time a hot stripper sticks a naked pair of natural Ds in your face!!!
My mother was very religious claiming she saw Satan in the house on a couple of occasions.
Meanwhile my father once said he was going to call the cops one evening because someone broke into the house and stole all the furniture in our den and replaced it with a new sofa and new lazy boy chairs. When your parents start talking religion, watch out.
That being said - some folks view religion - and the laws/commandments in a manner similar to a buffet. They choose the elements they want - and ignore the rest. It's possibly not what was intended - but it suits their ideas of faith and faithfulness.
The story is in Luke 7:36-50:
When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.” Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, teacher,” he said. “Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.” “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said. Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
