It's kind of hard to take seriously when your a porn site. Those pitfalls of catering to deviant minded folk. Especially those that like to parade around like they are "professional" all the time.
^^^^ it certainly is a statement - can you imagine how expensive it is to move a headquarters or large division of a company? BUT on the other hand it would be even more expensive considering all the potential business that could be lost in protest.
This is so funny on so many levels to me. I'm waiting for the people of NC t vote out these bigoted people...but considering the corruption in how districts are drawn, I know I'll have to be patient.
My isp is listed as being in NC, over 200 miles away. I'm glad we have such accurate isp location identification. I don't know what I would do if all those pop up date ads suggested girls lived next door instead of 250 miles away.
Unfortunately, While well intended and probably in support of the site's audience, I think the crowd that enacted an anti-LGBT law will probably be a demographic that thinks porn is immoral to begin with. So in making a point, blocking NC from getting a porn site is giving the stuffed shirts exactly what they want.
The NBA All-Star game is scheduled to be played in Charlotte next year and there has been a large call from guys like Bruce Springsteen, Charles Barkley, and several US Senators to move the game out of North Carolina
It will be interesting to see what happens. The Orlando Magic are owned by Rich DeVos (from Grand Rapids, Mich and founder of Amway) and he is a huge contributor (millions of dollars) to conservative political groups such as Focus on the Family that support anti-LGBT legislation.
The NBA has never said a peep about him. It seems they can't boycott Charlotte without doing someyhing about DeVos.

"All these liberals are excited to go to Cuba, as long as their flight doesn't connect through Charlotte."
Think about that for a minute before it really sinks in.
Classic!
