She don't wanna be saved

Any of you ever get in captain-save-a-ho mode and try to "save" a stripper? There's this stripper I met the other day. Absolutely breathtaking. I rarely give out 10's, but I would say she's a 10. I found out she escorts on the side. I thought to myself, she's way too hot to have to do that. I didn't get in full save a ho mode, but I mentioned to her she's too hot for that, and that I could try to help her in the entertainment industry (I'm in the film, entertainment industry here in LA). She didn't want to hear any of that, she said she's comfortable doing what she's doing, and that she's tired of people trying to "save" her. End of conversation. I guess she didn't want to be saved.

Yes, you have to always steer clear of becoming Captain-Save-a-Ho. SJG

-->"I guess she didn't want to be saved." Or, she more accurately profiled whether or not you could/would really help her, better than you thought :)

We've got a TUSCLer here in Atlanta that too is in the film business. Sound engineer, I think. He tells some of the girls that he can get them into the business too. Does that shit really fly?

I don't think so Shadowcat, I think for the most part strippers are stubborn and stuck in their ways. If I would have told her that I was a drug dealer and I wanted to pimp her out, she probably would have been much more interested. I know strippers probably have customers tell them all the time they want to save them, I'm sure the strippers just get numb to it.

The last thing most strippers want to hear is how you are gonna "save" them. The only thing they want saved is your money so that you can turn around and spend it on them.

What would you say if a stripper tried to save you from being a PL ?

The DS is sometimes tempted by guys who claim to be photographers and want to help her get into modeling. I have to keep reminding her that the only thing they want to get into is between her legs.

Stripper trying to save a guy from being a PL is what's known as free advice. You don't want that. [view link] And JS69, thank God your DS has you to remind her. Otherwise she might not know. SJG

No, the dancers can quit or leave the business whenever they want to, its a job that pays well at times.

I pay - then I want them to leave me alone when it's over - the only thing I'm saving is their panties if they leave them in my hotel. Leave them on the rear view mirror of my rental cars.

You don't want to nap with them some, so you can be ready for another round, and maybe not wake them up first? :) SJG

In my early clubbing days I have tried saving many hoes. After baptism by fire, I've learned there is no saving them unless they want to genuinely save themselves.

No offense, but telling her she's too hot/good for what she's doing is pretty condescending. I'd have ended the conversation too. From where I sit, there's nothing wrong with what she's doing. So, there's no need to save her from it and I completely understand why she'd not appreciate the offer. On top of that, without any judgement towards the sincerity of your offer, I wouldn't be surprised of most offers of that sort weren't sincere.

Just for clarification, the too hot/good for was regarding her escorting. It was just my personal opinion.

You're entitled to it, and I'm not in a position to judge you for it. But, like I said, it comes off at least as condescending as it does complimentary. At least in the opinion of a complete stranger on a internet discussion forum, whatever that may be worth.

Larry, from what I've heard in the few times that I've clubbed in LA, strippers there hear the "I'm a film producer or executive, talent agent, model rep" spiel all the time and 99.9999% of the time it is bullshit designed to remove them from their panties. So I'm not surprised by the reaction that you got. I wouldn't even be surprised if a lot of girls fall for it the first time and then become jaded to it thereafter. I guess she didn't know how much more genuine you are than all of those other dogs. ;) As an aside, another thing I've noticed about LA is how many strippers play the porn star card. One girl really pushed on it during one of my recent CA trips and I told her, "Yeah, you and half the other girls in here." LOL. Now that may have meant something 15 years ago, but nowadays any girl who gets paid to fuck on camera for some Internet smut site calls herself a porn star. But to answer your question, no, I have no interest in playing that role. For starters, many strippers take advantage of dudes who legitimately get that nonsense in their heads. But you should also question your motives when that pops into your head - it is amazing how many guys want to save a ho only AFTER they have enjoyed something with her. No gracias. I have enough drama in my life not to go looking for more. I want to enjoy these girls and then not think about them when I am done.

I'm with Dolfan on this one. She's not doing anything wrong or immoral. It's like an offer to "save" someone from playing professional football. You wouldn't dream of doing the latter, why the former? Yes, yes, hooking is illegal. Doesn't make it wrong.

I've quit drinking and smoking and I never really did do drugs. So the only vice I have left is sex. I am not about to try to talk any stripper into quitting any of these vices.

Larry, To the extent to which what you really mean by this thread is, "I tried a white knight hustle on a stripper, in order to make her feel indebted to me and hopefully get extra mileage, but she was too smart for it and saw right through it", then I sympathize with you, and hope you good luck in refining your reverse-hustle. To the extent to which you actually believe you would have helped her in some way, that your motives were even remotely pure and not centered on trying to get her to owe you, and that the notion of "saving" her is anything less than deplorable, then I'll ask you what you're smoking and where I can get some :)

Subra you hit the nail on the head his hustle is condescending at best, Larry if that's the best you can do you know the reason you aren't getting anywhere.

SHe sounds like my kind of girl. Perfectly fine doing what she's doing, don't want no help just because she's pretty and old men will assume she's a delicate little flower. I feel me and this girl could be best friends, and I wouldn't have to help her find work. Nothing turns me on more than a woman who truly wants to do things independantly. How did you feel when she denied your request larry?

The opposite happened to me. I was talking to a stripper and I told her how I dated a hooker (thinking back on that dating experience, if I didn't date normal chicks, I would really be considered desperate), She immediately asked me did I try to "save" her and was shocked that I said no but also did not bother to try to help her get clientele either. Made it quite plain that I had no interest in pimping, just being the girl's boy toy. Was told many of her girlfriends would appreciate a young hard working man like myself after that. I think it's because girls like some guys that don't try to change them and can be comfortable with their girl doing ANY type of work.

RE: Capt'Save'A'Hoe The real Captain'Save'A'Hoe is a dark character and his intentions are very un-pure and selfish. He doesn't want to "save" the sex worker. No. He wants her for himself. He wants to "save" her from working for other customers so he can lock the woman in his basement (symbolically) so he can have her all to himself. He wants her to perform for him and only him. He wants to turn her into a sex slave. See, deep down, Captain'Save'A'Hoe is a misogynist. He hates women. That's why he resorts to his tactics. -Dominic -- RE: Fallacy of negotiated intimacy or the Fallacious assumption that woman are all, deep down, prostitutes. Citation --> The Savior Schema - The beta male expectation of reciprocation of intimacy (usually sexual) for problems solved. The fundamental flaw of the Savior Schema (also, Captain Save a Hoe) is that it is essentially negotiated intimacy, and negotiated intimacy is never genuine. You can fix a woman’s flat tire, help her out of a financial jam, fix her a nice [lasagna], give her the perfect shoulder to cry on, take care of her kids and listen to her drone on for hours on the phone, and she’ll still go fuck her outlaw biker boyfriend because her intimacy with him is genuine, un-negotiated, un-obligated desire. She wants to have sex with him, she doesn’t owe him sex. --> end quote citation (Source): [view link] ^^^ interesting article -- RE: some dark satire (RE: White Knights) --> "Every time a man is being nice to you, he's offering dick. I used to live in LA and worked as a sound engineer in a recording studio and for an indie record label but I would've never used that as a pick up line. Half the people who live there are trying to be in the entertainment industry. Why do you think there are so many waiters? We would never try to save-a-ho from her lifestyle. Hell, if we found one willing to do anything we'd actively try to get her to be even more depraved. She can make her own choices in life. That Chris Rock quote is 100% so true. Mrs sea: what's for dinner Me: my dick

I understand the save-a-ho mentality - but I am on the opposite side. I'm a PL and if a ho tried to save me - I'd have a similar reaction to what the dancer you met had. I don't want to be saved - and I don't want to hear "you are too good of a guy to do this" I enjoy the film Leaving Las Vegas - and I think it opened my eyes to the idea of simply doing what I do - and letting the ho's do their thing too. In your case - and after reading the comments - I wonder if the dancer thought it was a line to get her into bed? Not your intention - at all - but I'm guessing it's used often in LA.

"I'm in the film, entertainment industry here in LA" She has probably been told the same thing by gonzo porn producers! In fact, she has probably been told the same thing by random perverts that have a camcorder! ;)

The closest I remember to a save a ho conversation was thinking I need to talk a dancer out of sucking on my dick in the strip club. The convo went something like I don't want you to get in trouble. Her, I'm not worried but thanks for thinking of me. Oh well I tried. I thought, what in the world was I thinking of? I'm never even going to try to talk a girl out of sucking unless she's ugly or has HIV and if it's either one of those, I want to run away from her, not talk.

I don't recall reading this thread before but Larry's second paragraph reminded me of something that I experienced last year. I met this UTR chick online and after a few emails and phone calls I went to see her. She wasn't a 10 but she was pretty hot, beautiful flawless skin and without a doubt the prettiest pussy I have ever seen in person. I told her that she was too beautiful to be meeting and messing around with strangers, me included and that she should have a boyfriend to take care of her. Her answer was something to the effect that she was too independent to tie herself to one guy.
