A stripper's Facebook status

The statuses I see on a daily basis from strippers reinforce that fact that I live in a completely different world from many of them.

Seems reasonable for a stripper! I agree with GMD - their world is very different.

I remember the days when dancers almost were ashamed of their work. They would drive an hour or more to work in the next town.

Now they post near nekkid pictures on FB advertising they are strippers

Yeah I'm Facebook friends with a couple of strippers, they don't seem to be hiding what they do. They post what club they're working at for the night, almost like advertisement.

I also have a few dancers as FB friends along with one escort, but you'd never know any of them were sex workers. These are their "private" FB pages I guess.

I'm sure some dancers maintain two fb accounts. One is for family and friends - and the other for business and keeping customer contacts (and schedules).

I didn't think they could post nudes on fb?

I think the trick is keep the separate groups - separate.

I agree I have about 15 stripper FB friends. A few post that they are dancers. and one even has a video of her on a pole. and a few more I think try to hide it. So it varies!
