I'm here in Louisville and from my experiences here almost all the clubs are very high mileage. Which got me to thinking what other areas and clubs really get down?
I have never heard Louisville described as very high mileage before. I considered going to clubs there once but after reading the reviews I decided to just go to Lexington instead. I think you need to get out more. I guess maybe that's the reason for your post.
I visited a few clubs in Louisville over ten years ago. One was called Thorobred and it sucked. The other two were a bit more upscale, but just as bad. I have yet to figure out where the good clubs are in Kentucky. The best time I have had so far in Kentucky was a club attached to the hotel was staying at, and I don't even remember the city or club name.
I think part of the reason I had a good time is I was the only one there tipping and getting dances, the rest of the customers were locals whose only reason to be there was to drink beer, and watch TV and occasionally look at the dancer on stage. Which seemed to be a very common theme in a lot of the other clubs.
Back in the 70s many of the Downtown Louisville "strip clubs" were simply fronts for brothels. Walk in, pick your girl, and head to the rooms in the back. An hour of everything cost $100. Adjusted for inflation, I guess that was a lot.

Perhaps VIP is a different story - what do you mean by high mileage in Louisville clubs - dances or VIP or both?
My definition of high mileage is two way contact hands and lips anywhere just no sex...LDKing is possible
