But mid- to low-end motels work OK. Think Day's Inn or Ramada. I hate Motel 6, even just for a hook-up. But sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
For an occasional treat: mid-range hotel (which around here means at least $150 after taxes)
For weekly jaunts: Hot tubs, and less often, the car
Crap shoot: I'm fine with low-end hotels, and would usually prefer them over the hot tubs. But with some girls, it makes them feel like a prostitute, even more than the hot tubs do: the hot tubs are at least in a safe neighborhood, look nice from the outside, and the individual rooms are nice too, whereas the low end hotels can be in crappy neighborhoods, look crappy from the outside, and the rooms aren't so hot either. If I think the low-end hotels are bumming her out, I stick with the hot tubs
So I could see that they each must have been married to someone else.
For myself, it will be my home. And then on the road it will be where ever I am sleeping, small motorhome, basic motel, or building I am leasing for business reasons.

Seems like it's would feel weird to have family and friends over sitting on your couch where she just fucked a guy for money a few hours earlier.
