12 cities, 12 months

I don't know of 12 cities I would go to. However, in the fall and winter and spring I would visit Miami and Tampa and Phoenix. In the summer I would stay in Detroit where I live.

Can we add canada to the mix?

Mohead’s list is good - while in Houston I’d add Dallas since it’s fairly close-by.

I would also add Providence; and Tijuana just over the border (good SC scene in both)

I like motors list as well but I would replace Vegas and Indy with providence (may) and San Diego (to go to TJ, November).

Follow my advice DivorcedDude and you might want to actually married again, because after this strip club tour, you'll never want to hit up another strip club again!

Obviously the reply's indicate go south in winter and north in summer.

This reminded me of a guy that I knew that had a job as assistant station manager in Palm Springs Ca airport during 8 months of the year and during the 4 months of summer, he was the station manager for West Yellowstone MT.

Just for the weather I can't think of a sweeter job.

Chess, these cities are almost exactly what I'm planning on now. Except, instead of Houston, I'm planning on Tampa and Niagara Falls. Probably Myrtle Beach too, although I heard the SC'ing there isn't nearly as good as it used to be. We'll see. Fingers crossed, I hope to SC in all of those places next year. Thanks.

I'm seriously suprised NYC is on ANYBODY's list. Why would you strip club in NYC period? Wasn't you guys that told me Manhattan SUCKS.

IDK about New Orleans and NYC; they seem to overcharge and under-deliver – and Minnesota is not a SC hotbed – nice places to visit though; but not good for SCing (which is what's important) IMO.

The cities I mentioned were all potentially lucrative cities, many with fun perks and good weather. The only cities I listed where I wouldn't find dancing worth it are the Cali cities and Miami. Although I think I could make good money in Miami, but it would be frustrating and remind me of Detroit clubs so why not just explore the city, daytime attractions and night life.

My list is going to be different because it's a dancer's POV, I go where the money is. :) I put NYC on my list because Manhattan is a gold mine in December. They have good looking girls, but are expensive. Some of the clubs have extras but they are expensive.

That's a solid list too skibum. Yeah, I realize NYC, New Orleans, & MN aren't the best cities for SC'ing, but they are good places to visit, and the trip wouldn't be completely about SC'ing. I'm not an extras guy (not yet anyway), so I'm looking more for hot women than extras.

I would probably use something close to motor's list. I think I'd switch January and February,

Realistically though, I think if 9 of the 12 cities were top notch SC cities and 3 were cool cities, but low mileage SC cities, I think it would be "mostly" a SC'ing trip.

Exactly.

Maybe it's because I travel so much already, but I don't know many areas that i'd like to stay in as a visitor for a whole month. I imagine getting into my car and touring the southern states in the winter and the northern states in the summer, though I don't think that I would make it much further West than TX before I turned the car north, lol. The length of my stay in each place would be determined entirely by how much fun I was having.

I hear you Rick. It would be mostly for economical reasons that I'd be staying in places a month at a time. You can get sublets on apartments or monthly rentals through AirBnb for a lot less than the per night cost in a decent hotel. Some places I may only stay a few days or a week, others a month.

Thinking out the U.S. box for a minute; you may be well served to cut down on your U.S. list and do some “you can't go wrong” non-U.S. spots; e.g. Tijuana (e.g. Hong Kong Club), and the FKK clubs in Germany (have your read londonguy's FKK reviews; def seem worth it).

You should hire Juice as your official tour photographer – he should come cheap.

I've heard FKK is pretty insane. If I survive the US trip, maybe I'll celebrate with a trip to Germany.

Honestly, Manhattan is only on my list for two reasons.

1. I always heard about Scores when I was younger, so it's a bucket list kind of thing for me. It may be closed now or sucks, but I want to try it one time.

2. I'm smitten with Dancer95 and want to get at least one lap dance from her. If she'll tell me where she's working, that is.

January - Tampa - Warm and most of the February - Miami - Warmer March - Dallas - Never been there for clubs, and warm. April - New Orleans, probably start here March 31, for the Crawfish Festival.
May - Providence, RI - Great Dances, Reasonable priced seafood and decent Casino's in nearby Connecticut. June - Toronto - Lots of good clubs in the area, including nearby Niagara. July - Detroit - In the three visits this year to Detroit, majority of the best dances occurred then. August - Minneapolis / St. Paul - Had my longest marathon lap dances that lasted over 4 hours and 6 dancers with at most 2 song break at any time the entire time I was there. Sept - Baltimore, MD - Pretty good location to hit clubs in Philly, DC and New Jersey, plus as relatives in the area have said, Baltimore is nothing to sneeze at. October - Phoenix November - Houston December - Vegas - Want to see how gaudy Vegas can make Christmas.

Why Thee Dollhouse in particular – I had it in mind Mons; 2001; and Scarlett's were about the most popular Tampa SCs.

My old stomping grounds – lived in Big-D from 2000 - ~2010 and Baby Dolls was the first club I stumbled upon when I moved there and subsequently became a SC connoisseur.

Nice! I arrived here after 2010 and just started SC'ing recently. Baby Dolls is my favorite place so far, but I'll have to check out some other clubs around here, before I leave TX.

"Why Thee Dollhouse in particular". It makes the top 10 list on TUSCL & they have $10 lap dances during the afternoon. I was planning on checking out Mons also, if I don't spend all of my SC budget at Thee Dollhouse.

You forgot one major benefit to Miami, well, S. Florida.

DD, it is not the same Scores. The original Scores shut down a long time ago and the facility is now Sapphire (under different ownership). Some years back some enterprising fellows bought the name, opened a completely different club under that same name, and later started to license the name to clubs in other cities.

But the new Scores is really nothing like the old one. The original Scores was a nude juice club with uber hot girls. The new one is a regular topless club with mid level talent.

Question for NinaBambina: why wouldn't you work in Miami?

I've already explained, plus I can't think of ONE Miami club that I would be excited to dance at. In all the other cities I mentioned working in, there are either clubs I've worked at or clubs I've been wanting to try out.

I would just prance around Miami's beaches and nice restaurants looking adorable and spending the money I made the previous month :)

If you're looking for a upscale place in Miami with white girls and Latinas, Scarlett's Cabaret would be your bet, it's a no extras club, so it's perfect for someone like Nina who has never done any extras in her life.

I would do Miami multiple months, Phoenix and Vegas in the winter. Los Angeles in the spring.

My choices, in order, Jan. through Dec.: Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Detroit, Providence, St. Louis, Dallas, Houston, Tampa, Miami. You're Welcome. (Re- for not having to scroll too much vertically through my post.

Addendum; In case you all (youse, y'all) are wondering why I chose as I did- Besides obvious climate preferences, I designed sequence to avoid feeling like a bloody ping-pong ball too much. I picked Vegas in February because I don't think I could stand Vegas for a full regular month. Or my wallet.

As an alternative, I'd consider deleting 2 cities, and "doubling down" on the greater Miami and Los Angeles areas by going to 2 different cities in different (not consecutive) months of the year. In the first case, I'd fly into Miami, and concentrate on Dade County, maybe Southern Broward County clubs. At a later date, I'd fly into Ft. Lauderdale, or West Palm Beach airport, concentrating on northern Broward County/ Palm Beach area clubs. In the later case, I'd fly into LAX first, concentrating on L.A., maybe some OC or NH clubs. At later part of year, I'd fly into Ontario, concentrating on COI/IE clubs. I'd be curious to read OP's TR................

Clubber, when you initially made that eloquent statement, I responded back saying, "Yup!" which is a clear indication of agreement. Therefore, no need to say it twice.

I know I could make money there. My philosophy is that if you make money in Detroit as a non-extras girl, you can make money anywhere. But if I'm already making money here, and in Vegas, ATL, Tampa, etc, why go through the frustration of working in Miami when I can just fully enjoy the city?

Miami really could be changed to a different city, but since I chose Tampa in Oct, Miami would be nice to chill at before.

Didn't know a couple of you were so emotionally invested in my choices...

DivorcedDude, one nice thing about the Twin Cities is about 3/4 of the strip joints are in downtown Minneapolis, all within walking distance of each other. The only three you'd have to look at driving or cabbing to would be BJ's (right on the western edge of the downtown area), the Lamplighter (about 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis; like one friend said, nothing says welcome like getting wanded; and the dancers get naked -- but behind a glass wall), and the King of Diamonds (a good half hour-plus down to Inver Grove Heights; it's also the only nude club in the Twin Cities that also serves alcohol). For the most part though, Twin Cities' strip joints are pretty much hands-off.

Additional things to do in the Twin Cities could include Dudley Rigg's Brave New Workshop (probably one of the best comedy venues I've ever been to) and the Bryant-Lake Bowl (a café, a dinner theater, and a bowling alley, all under one roof). If you're into science fiction, Convergence runs June 30-July 3. If you enjoy theatre and can wait until August, the Minnesota Fringe Festival will be underway Aug. 4-14. The only downside to that is all of the driving; theatres are scattered all over the Minneapolis area. And the Renaissance Festival starts August 20 and runs weekends through Oct. 2.

Likewise, Indianapolis has a lot of strip clubs, most of which are of the hands-on variety. Again, if you go in August and enjoy gaming (along with other geeky pursuits), there's Gen Con August 4-7. And the Indy Fringe Festival will be running August 18-28. (It usually has a pretty fun burlesque show, if Angel Burlesque isn't overbooked with Gen Con and any other venues.)

Yeah, just some ideas.

Chi is actually a place that is good during summer time. There are lots of conventions. When I worked there they posted the summer convention list in the dressing rm and it listed how many people would be attending each convention.

I am glad to hear that - I wouldn't want to go to Chicago during winter, to be honest. Even though NYC is not warm either. And it currently sucks here by comparison with last season, ugh.

There are two nice/fairly-upscale clubs in South FL that are non-extras AFAIK and I'd think you would do well there:

• Scarlett's in Hallandale (just past the Miami-Dade county line)

• Cheetah Pompano – (25 minutes north of Miami)

And even in the clubs where there are extras is not as in Detroit – i.e. non-extras dancers often do well-enough in the better Miami clubs (e.g. Tootsies; etc).

And now that I remember; E11even in downtown Miami is upscale and lots of $$$ in the place and low or no extras AFAIK but not sure.

I heard the same thing about NYC, that it's much slower than usual. I wanted to work there this yr Nov and Dec but it didn't seem worth leaving the money I'm making now (although it usually is). Even here was much slower than last year, although things seem to be picking up a bit.

I'm shocked to see Houston mentioned so often. All the previous d iscussions I've seen her, I thought the overall consensus was that it may have been good once, but is mediocre at best now. I actually make it to Houston from time to time and have not SCed there at all. I;ll go read the club reviews, but do youse guys have specific clubs you'd recommend, and why? I'm a no-extras alcohol clubber here in SF, but open to high touch and extras clubs when I travel, so recommend whatever you like. Clubs heavy in white/latin/asian girls please

It seems St James is the most well-liked Houston club – only negative seems to be the girls are a bit too slow-hustle and the club can get pretty packed with custies and a fair # of whales; i.e. one needs to be proactive about getting the dancers' attention.

Unfortunately; currently there doesn't seem to be any Houston regular participants on the discussion board to chime-in; but TUSCLer “twboyhouston” (tuscl.net) has reviewed many of the H-town clubs and he writes good reviews (i.e. reading his reviews may help you zero-in on the right clubs).

Papi is right about E11. If you're a 9 or 10, head over there. You'll make lots of money giving low contact dances.

@Nina, yup, right now it's very inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes I feel like summer isn't over yet. Although I know lots of waiters/bartenders and they complain about it being slow too.

@Papi ; @Clackport, I heard that e11even is more of a hang-out spot with lots of custies treating it as such, hence not spending money on girls, is it true?

Papi would probably have more insight on that than me. I had a friend that went there once, and told me about it.

I only been to E11 once on a dayshift and it was dead – it's def a night-spot and it's actually supposed to be open 24 hours.

E11 is in downtown and thus close to South Beach (SoBe) which is thee party spot in South FL – E11 is very upscale and very expensive and gets the party crowd many of which seem to be the serious SoBe party crowd (very-late-in-the-eve/wee-hours-of-the-morning) and seemingly many of these partiers do have deep-pockets.

It seems to me that often times clubs that suck for custies/serious-SCers are good for dancers – E11 is somewhat of a “hang-out” place b/c I believe the upstairs may actually be kinda like a night-club – but from reading the reviews I get the impression the E11 “hang-out” crowd is not exactly the “hang-out” crowd at a typical SC – i.e. it seems many of the E11 custies are deep-pocketed ones.

So it is kinda of a party-scene and also very expensive ($40/LD) thus why the avg SCer may not like it - but the club def seems to get large crowds and big-spenders – whether dancers do well or not I really would not know; but I get the feeling they can.
