She has a college degree but chose to be a stripper for fun.

Girl in the UK.

I once met a smart dancer who told me she had a college degree but chose to keep stripping because she was making a lot of money. A lot more than any starting salary. I haven't met dancers who told me they were stripping for fun. Even if they are, sounds like they would rather use the line that they need the money. Who doesn't like to be paid well? I have met strippers who told me stripping was a second job and they were moonlighting. Met any strippers doing it for fun or just extra money?

I have met a few who are either in the middle of degree programs and those who need the extra money. Not too many for the fun, but at least three of them in my short travels have stated it was a life choice more than anything else.

Who would want to be groped for fun? It's all about the benjamins.

Some girls have a libido just like a man, so they enjoy playing around just as much as we do and the money makes it a double bonus.

I had a dancer over the summer who claimed she had a master's degree. The way she talked about what she studied I could believe it. But she also could make more money stripping and she had plenty of stripper drama. . So a degree doesn't remove the drama.

Never had a stripper tell me it was just for fun. I did have one tell me it made her feel attractive, but have a hard time seeing a girl do the kind of places you guys tell crazy stories about on here!

Maybe if they were super nymphos I suppose, but it strikes me that there is a lot of baggage associated with stripping and a super nympho would just hook up with random guys via any number of methods like dating apps or even going to porno theaters if she really wanted the full on pervert experience. ;)

After reading this - I was sitting here trying to think.... have I ever actually met a stripper that has graduated college? I've met hundreds that are IN college or have SOME college classes and are "taking a break," so to speak.

Yep haven't met any that have told me they actually had a degree, unless one told me on a night that I had too much to drink and had forgotten.

Side note, I love the ones that are pushing 40 telling me they are working on finishing up their first undergrad degree, and it's not like they instantly decided to go to college at 35, nope I'm talking about the ones that have been working on it since they were 18. "Glad you're sticking with it babe!" is usually the only thing I can say to that..

I met one once who was a teacher by day and stripper by night, at least on weekends and they wouldn't let her teach without a degree. I have no idea whether she stripped for fun.

I know a stripper with a masters degree in a field that would allow her to make a good living. She does work in that field part time, but she makes a lot more as a stripper.

I work with girls with bachelor's degrees at my club. There might be some with advanced degrees. At the first club I worked at there was one dancer with two master's degrees but made so much money stripping she didn't need another job. Another one at that same club had a master's and has previously taught students in South Korea. So they exist. I'm only 22 credits away from my bachelor's degree then going to law school... I might dp the dual degree program and get my mba as well because I'm planninh on practicing business law. I'm taking my dear sweet time now because I make more than enough money and when I get a 9-5 I'll lose my freedom. I won't stop dancing until I'm 30 and/or until I've passed the bar exam... Whichever comes first.

Lol I meant do, NOT dp... Lol typos.

Most girls strip for the money and flexibility/freedom of not having a set schedule or limited vacation time.

I worked with a few who claimed for fun and they were idiots. While you should enjoy doing it, if it's not making money then not for her.

Or most likely, girl from article realized that stripping will still pay more than office job, hence decided not to use her degree.

I do know lots of girls who have degrees and dance to supplement their income. Or for whatever reason, they decided not to use their education at all, at least atm. It's not that uncommon as you guys think.

I have met up with girls here and there that claimed to be in school. One blonde very hot 20 something was actually working the afternoon shift and sitting at a table doing homework/studying when I walked in and put her books in a backpack before the came to sit with me. She said it was her last week because finals were in two weeks and she had a different job when she graduated. Another was working evening weekends and claimed she had a day job and like the extra money and was a self proclaimed exhibitionist. She said she was also working on her masters thesis in psychology and her masters thesis was on human sexual behavior LOL.

no, and personally, she's extremely stupid for the choices she's making. Even if she start off with less than she could make at the stripper club, once she's aged out, and she wants to go corporate, if she actually gets an entry level job, she'll be 60 before she makes what should could have made at age 35
