Road Trips: Prioritizing

Okay, some wonderful thoughts on the 'Getting the best mileage thread', but many of them centered around being a regular to a particular club and establishing 'friendships' with one or a small group of ladies.

I have a home club, that works pretty well. Now, what do you do when your on the road and you want to check out a new strip club or two? You've read reviews on this board and picked one or two out...

My initial thoughts: When on the road to new clubs other bar employees can be your best friend. Tips to the waitresses, bartenders and doormen go a LONG way toward getting information you want and hopefully hooked up with the right ladies
(it can backfire if the doorman or waitress is friends with girls who are not service oriented- but generally its a good practice, they know keeping the customer happy might get another big tip).

Conversation would be a plus, especially if you can drop 'why' you are in town- if there is a connection to the place that might bring you back to an area. "got relatives in the next city", "I drive a truck and have passed here xxxx times", "I come here alot for buisness" are all wonderful answers- as long as they are true, of course.

Other thoughts? Thanks...

I only take in what I want to spend and, since I am weak and prone to falling in love easily(lol), I leave the plastic in the car...strip clubs are no place for amatuers. If you are new to the scene, go with someone who knows the score or, at the very least, limit your cash on hand the first few times. If you have a good head on your shoulders it doesnt take long to figure out how things work...

So some of what you are saying, Yoda, would be to set a budget before you go in a club while traveling... Take only what you need in, and learn to look out for ROB's before they take you to the cleaners ? We already went over tip employees generously FONDL suggested low key reconiscance first, at the bar. Anything else?

In tourist towns the girls can smell an out-of-town traveler. If you are looking to grease the wheels you need to realize that cash is the universal lubricant for ALL strip club employees. If you are hitting a new club for the first time it's really the only thing that works. Checking the boards is a good idea as it's best to know if you are wasting your time trying to find things (like contact) that simply don't exist in the area you are visiting. Beware of city's like Tampa & Vegas, I've seen guys get cleaned out in 20 minutes by one dancer who "saw them coming"

When visiting an area for the first time, I usually check the reviews to find nearby places that sound like my kind of place. When I visit a place for the first time, I sit at the bar and observe the action for awhile to see how the place works. If possible, I strike up a conversation with the bartender or other employee. If I kind of like the place, I move to a table and ask a girl to join me. If I don't feel welcome I leave after one drink and try somewhere else.
