I've been on the Beijing trains and this stuff goes on all the time. Hard to tell if it is frotteurism. or just a crowded train. I have had to elbow guys back and I don't think they were gay.
Back when my Dad was in school in Detroit, my mom was working downtown. She was on the streetcar which was very crowded, when some pervert started feeling her butt, giving her a lascivious grin. She surreptitiously pulled a three-inch hairpin out of her hair and the next time he put his hand on her she nailed his hand hard with the pointy end. He quickly moved to a place 20 feet away from her and got off at the next stop.
