SAN ANTONIO - A man and woman were arrested early Monday after they apparently tried to commit several robberies on the city's Northwest and West sides.

Police say the spree began at about 3:30a.m. when the man and woman tried to rob two locations in the Medical Center. A police sergeant said they were unsuccessful at the first two locations.

The couple - identified by police as a strip club dancer and a strip club patron - continued on to a Valero store and robbed the store with a BB gun, according to investigators.

Police caught up with the suspects at a Texaco gas station located at Highway 151 and Potranco Road. The woman was arrested. The man tried to run off, but was caught nearby.
