^^ Actually, when you factor in that there is a chunk of the population too young to be fornicating, it is closer to 1 in 2 have an STD. Also, considering HPV is so prevalent and CDC is counting stuff that can be fixed with penicillin, 1 in 2 is a very reasonable estimate for ALL STDs.
Is Herpes I considered an STD, considering that many get it before they are sexually active? That might help explain the higher numbers. I've heard estimates that roughly 80% of people living in the U.S. will contract HSV I or II before they die.

Still I should get tested again.
I suspect it does include HSV-1

Remember, if you just get a lapper to LDK there is little to no disease risk.
