The girl next door look

When I hear “girl next door type” I automatically assume it is describing the girl’s look and not her demeanor.

In terms of looks; for me personally; I’m kinda the anti girl-next-door look type – for me the girl next door look/dancer is like driving a minivan; i.e. not very exciting – I like the freaks in terms of women w/ bodies that blow my mind which for me means incredible curves and not a “normal” body look (i.e. normal boobies; normal booty => boring)

Anyway - maybe my comments are not what the OP was supposed to be about but …

I tend to agree with Rick on this issue. When Hefner started Playboy, that was one of his objectives: to show America what was underneath those tight sweaters in the 50's and early 60's. I personally love it when the pretty girl next door becomes the pretty whore next door.

Girl Next Door Look is what got me into my first emotionally negative situation with a dancer. Except I would call it more Farm Girl Look.

This would be the Cathy who I tried to chat up and ask out at the Brass Rail in Sunnyvale, which I have posted about various places.

Actually I like the more extreme stripper / porn star look. But at the Brass Rail back then most of their dancers were just so redneck. You could even say they were white trash.

Cathy was also this, but I could see a softer side of her, and so that gave me some way of interacting with her, where as I would not have been able to interact with the others. With the others I could not envision anyway that I could engage in intimacy with them.

The girls I had had dealings with in high school and college were well off. They had more layers of social convention and propriety insulating them. They played games and I was always getting shit on and treated like dirt. I was getting screwed, just like Elliot Rodger of UCSB was.

Cathy was not like this. I mean sure there are protocols and scripts and all. But with her emotions close to the surface, she can't always hide them. She was working class. It is just different. Also the dancing and parading around intensifies it.

So I convinced her that I was something other than another customer asking for OTC-P4P, which she did not do. Once she accepted me at my word, I had her. But I was already in way way over my head. I had no idea what I was doing.

It ended up with her mad at me. She was mad because I'd hurt her feelings, even though I'd never touched her. She was mad because I'd made her mad in front of other people. BR girls don't talk to people the way she was talking to me. But she was also mad because in letting me see how mad she was, she was showing me how much I had hurt her. She would have rather kept that concealed. I had zero experience dealing with women in this kind of territory. And this had nothing to do with the fact that she was a Go-Go dancer. It was just that she was working class and that I was a guy with a job.

So yes, I do under stand the GND look, and I do go for it, even though my real preference is a more cultivated dancer / porn start look.

I too like the "girl next door look". A while back I was discussing shoes with a stripper and I said "too bad the club won't let you wear tennis shoes. It would make you look more like the girl next door" she replied that she didn't want to look like the girl next door. When you think about the stage names that they pick, it doesn't sound like they want to be thought of as the girl next door.
