Closure of the SF RedBook, and sex surrogates

money was invented for handing to women, but buying dances is a chump's game
In this week's July 23 - 29 issue of the San Jose Metro they lambast the Feds for closing the SF RedBook.

Unfortunately the Metro, the arts and entertainment newspaper, no longer keeps full text archives online. Maybe there might be some who could find and save copies of it.

They talk about several points. First of all there were the ads for things perfectly legal, like sexual surrogacy. I was not aware of any such ads like that myself, but I still believe what the Metro is saying. They say that this sexual surrogacy is perfectly legal.

They say it was actually Kamala Harris, now State AG, who put forth the interpretation that sexually surrogacy, so long as it is licensed and regulated, is outside of PC 647(B) and therefore perfectly legal.

All I know about Kamala Harris is that when she replaced Terrance Hallinan as San Francisco AG, the first thing she did was to start enforcing 647(B) by having arrests made at the Market St Cinema, marking the closure of a golden era of extreme mileage in huge totally private rooms.

But anyway, they say that sexual surrogacy serves those who have disabilities, like amputees. But included as those with disabilities are also, "guys with no social skills".

They say that only a very small portion of what goes on in sexual surrogacy is actually sex. Much of it is coaching and just basic touching. Some really need this, so they say.

Also a sex worker advocacy group makes it clear that the RedBook was a way sex workers exchanged information necessary for safety, like blacklisting predators. I also know that there were efforts to capture some AAMP robbers. I notice now that much of what is written on stripper web is practical advice about "escorting".

The Electronic Freedom Foundation has warned that we should take this RedBook closure very seriously as it threatens everyone's freedom of speech and due process rights. I agree.

What I know is that the RedBook was part of a transition from store front AMP's to AAMP's. AMP's can be okay for some amount of window shopping. Window shopping can be a way of staging the session by putting the girl in the right mood. Way back then they were young Vietnamese high fashion hotties.

AAMP's on the otherhand work by cell phones and the internet. No window shopping and overall older and less attractive service providers. But because of the RedBook and the exacting terminology and the reviews of individual service providers, the "service level" went straight through the room. RB originated the terminology which is now used world wide. GFE is a Taiwan styled use of English.

RedBook GFE = RB-GFE = DFK + DATY + BBBJ + MSOG. Most of those from Taiwan, Singapore, and PROC did give this level of service, in letter and in spirit. The Koreans did not, as it is just against their culture. The Vietnamese had mostly pulled out of this kind of business as their economic fortunes have risen. But of those that remained some did comply. We have a huge Asian American community of high tech workers who provide the communications bridge to the foreign nationals to make sure that they understand what the service expectations are. And we also have branches of Asian banks who allow the women to open accounts without asking too many questions.

Whereas Silicon Valley lacks high mileage strip clubs, it has AAMPs. I would say that most of the AAMP customers are indeed Pathetic Losers, people who have given up on conventional relationships and also on most possibilities for career advancement.

I loved the high service level, straight up through the MSOG. Some service providers ( RA's = Relaxation Assistants ) were a bit put off by it upon first arriving hear and hearing about it. Some were afraid that everyone would insist on this and that their job would become too hard to do, given the quantity. But usually there are not problems. In an actual session, if you can do them nicely the first time, then they like that so much that they get ecstatic about a second time. This is what makes the in between time so nice, and what gives the girl a bigger role in making it happen the second time round. On the other hand, gross and inept unnecessary roughness on even a first round can take an RA out of action for quite a while.

The idea that there is this pool of computer nerds with "no social skills", has been marketed for some decades now, mostly by those who are selling remedies.

But unless you take a harder look at our society and try to find out what is causing this so called lack of skills, or really just this social marginalization, then you never will be able to properly remedy it. I hope to be writing more about this soon.

I was always surprised by how blatant and explicit the RedBook was able to be, and by how long it was able to last. Don't know what to expect now.

I don't think you went into enough detail on this.
