Flight Club Construction

Detroit strip clubs
In the Flight Club today (in Inkster, a Detroit suburb), they were doing construction. My waitress told me they were going to re-open the casino. But it looked to me like they were changing the 1st floor back to what it was like before the casino was opened. They had removed the glass partition and the gaming tables from the 1st floor. Now they have more seating for strip club customers.

I wonder how the construction workers feel about working in a strip club? The view must be better than usual!

I don't know if the casino will re-open. Alan, the owner, made a big deal about the casino a couple years ago, but I don't care about it because I don't gamble. Dancers told me that the casino did not help them because gamblers spend all their money on gambling, not on strippers.

Customers from Toledo/ohio used to come to michigan to gamble but now casinos are allowed in ohio so I'm sure that was another loss of revenue for michigan casino business.

The idea of having casino/strip club together sounds good in theory but too bad it did not work out. Flight club used to also charter a plane to Vegas and had strippers on the plane. That idea did not last long either. Price of fuel was too expensive and people seemed to not spend enough on the strippers on the plane and saved their money for the Vegas strippers.

IDK – I think a lot more construction accidents may occur as a result of distraction

There was a previous post on another site that it will reopen August 15 and be run independently, but with only card games. Still the same reopening date as far as I can tell.
