Have you noticed a slow down lately ?

Miami, FL (or the nearest big-booty club)
We all know that the club scene has not been the same for the most part since the recession – but my question in the title is w.r.t. the last few months or year.
I drove by 4 different SCs on Saturday night – w.r.t. the 1st one; the parking lot was about 1/3 empty when it's usually full on weekends (per my visits over the last couple of years and months) – I decided not to go inside.
Then I drove by 2 other clubs that had been kind of struggling and they were closed.
I then went by a 4th club that normally is packed on weekends and it was only about 60% full and saw various dancers just sitting around (not normally the case for this club).
I've also read a couple of reviews of other clubs in my area that don't seem to be doing as well as they used to.
I know this topic is discussed from time to time and it's also hard to gauge the club scene in real time; but last Saturday night was a bit sobering.
Have you noticed a noticeable slowdown?

In MO a 2010 more restrictive state law plus the sagging economy was a double whammy for clubs; several closed, or stayed open on fewer days and had more trouble retaining dancers.
Now KC clubs have adapted well to restrictions so it's the economy that continues to drag on attendance. If there are big events or conventions DT then club patronage increases.
The Kansas club is in a university town so attendance and dancer numbers vary by university activity...spring break, finals, etc.
Yeah papi here the sluggish economy is still having a big impact.
With Mother's Day looming on Sunday. The guys were going no where near clubs. :)
Another bad quarter, and that equals the "R" word.
The economony is not as good as the media likes to tell us. Unemployment rates might supposedly "be down", but that is because alot of people gave up looking for work or sit on what is almost endless welfare. Also alot of people working are doing jobs that are part time, temporary, or below their skill level. 37% of college graduates are working jobs where only a high school education is requaired.
Also consider some of the insane pricing at SC's. For example, they offer a half hour VIP room (with cameras and rules) for $300. In many areas of the US, you can get an hour of sex with a hooker for $200 or less. Why would guys bother with strip clubs?

The official unemployment rate in South Carolina I thought I read was almost a whole percent below the national average, maybe less so recently. In counties with strip clubs, unemployment is the lowest. Apparently strip clubs lead to low unemployment. Just like Obama's full of hot air and changing our climate by talking too much.
The only upside to a SC is variety and you get to see/test drive her first.
