I'm talking about a full contact dance, where she grinds on you and lets you touch/grope her, in a private or semiprivate area. How much is five minutes of that worth?
Full contact dances here range from 3 - 4:15 seconds and from 20 to 25, except of 2/1 days. Makes for sense to do a $130 15 minute CR in a small room with a couch, table, lamp and full length door, although to be fair a dance such as the one described by the original poster would be considered lame in the CR>
I think a hot lapdance for 3 minutes is worth about $10. Hard to find places that charge that little, but I think that's all they are worth. Even at that rate, that is $200 per hour - plenty. Most jobs only pay what - $10-$30 per hour? So $200 per hour is a lot of money!! You can get a hot escort who will do anything you want for an entire hour for $400 or so. That is worth twice as much as just dances without sex. So - $10 is all they are worth, but sometimes if I find hot babes I may get some $20 or even $25 dances - but I won't get very many at those prices!
I'm paying $10 and they are worth every penny of it. I have paid as low as $5 in a few black clubs but they were not as good as the $10. $20 for a straight lap dance is my maximum. After that there better be something else going with it.
I pretty much reached my limit when they went to $25. At my favorite spot, they are still $20 but there is a $5 payoff for the "room monitor"! With my fave, I usually pay that and at times I tip him so he will be scarce.
It's by the song. I thought songs were 3-4 minutes generally. Generally $10 - $50 per song. Depends on area, club, dancer, level of contact, dancer brokeness.
I’m not an economist so it’s hard to say how much a lap dance is/should-be worth.
I don’t mind paying $20 for a good lap dance since it seems most clubs are often cutting songs down to 3 minutes or maybe 3.5 mins (in my area it seems many clubs are going down to 3 min LDs). I’m really not comfortable paying more than $20 for 3 to 3.5 mins of grinding.
LDs in my area are $25 which has the effect of me often actually spending less money in total b/c of the $25/dance. In “generalâ€; I’ve noticed the club w/ the highest LD prices often sell the least dances and the clubs w/ the lower LD prices often sell them like hot bread.
In my area (Miami) – the black clubs have $5 and $10 dances – I agree that $5 is unfairly too low for any dancer - $10 I think is a good compromise. The fact the LDs are cheaper means that I often will spend more in total in the cheap ($5/$10) LD places than I do in the $25 places b/c I feel I am getting more of my money’s worth.
I don’t necessarily believe that higher LD prices will lead to a dancer making more $$$ and it could be the other way around.
I can pay $20 for a really good dance. But, unfortunately, the dancers usually only give about a $10 value. So when you go to my preferred clubs and pay $10 and get a very good dance, then you probably have something. A very good dance would be active grinding, lots of mutual hands-on, maybe some nibbling and blowing on my coveted crotch, some dirty talk, some peeks and sniffs of vag, and some Golden Globes-worthy GFE acting.
But a pet peeve is $25/dance. Makes bill handling and making change tougher. And, if you are a dancer, why do you ask?
Many black SCs are small local joints that are often in bad underprivileged neighborhoods.
I guess many black clubs are catering to their local constituency/neighborhood which may often not be affluent (or even middleclass).
BTW – I don’t think it’s all black clubs – it may be geographic.
I know Atlanta and parts of Maryland as well as South Florida have them; but when I lived in Dallas; the LDs in the black clubs were the same as the non-black clubs.
$15 some of the time. I get better value if she dances an extra song for free because the DJ talked too much or the club played a commercial instead of a regular song. Playing a radio commercial for the club for all the people in the club is one of the lamest thngs I heard. Well if I get a free dance out of it, not so bad.

Why are black clubs cheaper ?
Usually I go where I can get what's described in OP for $20.
