Have you ever noticed....?
Young pregnant women now wear tight tops that accentuate their baby bump. Remember back in the 60's, 70's, even 80's, women bought "maternity clothes", loose fitting smock-like tops and dresses that tried to hide the bump.
Now women are proud to wear form fitting tank tops when pregnant. When did this change and why?

The same reason (pre)teens that are 50 lbs over weight wear hot pants and show midrifts. When something doesn't look good people don't get called on it anymore by people they trust and if someone does call them on it they are just a hater.

I think it's a mixture of what Carl said and some sense of empowerment i.e. Pregnancy is not something that has to be hidden and it isn't the end of a womans's attractiveness or sexuality.
