  The same reason (pre)teens that are 50 lbs over weight wear hot pants and show midrifts. When something doesn't look good people don't get called on it anymore by people they trust and if someone does call them on it they are just a hater. The common mindset of what is proper has changed. Modesty is dead.

  Well Motorhead Motherhood is a wonderful beautiful thing and not something to be ashamed of or hidden away.. if the mom to be is comfortable in an outfit and not endangering her unborn then let her enjoy feeling pretty if you do not like it you do not have to stare just move on And Carl what your talking about is different and those young girls are not ready for the negative comments and reaction them will receive and do need kind constructive guidence being Big n Curvy does not mean you can not feel attractive they just cant wear the same things as their twiggy friends

  I think it's a mixture of what Carl said and some sense of empowerment i.e. Pregnancy is not something that has to be hidden and it isn't the end of a womans's attractiveness or sexuality.
