I've also visited parts of SE Asia, for example, and you're right, strip clubs don't really exist in many areas. And part of the reason, I suppose, is because many areas are extremely poor, and, well the average working stiff can't afford to spend a few bucks on strippers. So the "strip clubs" are relegated to the western/touristy spots, and, like you mentioned, are mostly brothels, not traditional strip clubs. Same with, say, Brazil. And Mexico.

But in areas like SE Asia, I don't think the attitude towards prostitution is necessarily more forgiving than in, say, the US, but because of corruption and politics and money, stuff is allowed to happen that most people either think is very wrong (because of strict religious beliefs), or because people are more likely to understand that when you ain't got money, you gotta to what you gotta do to survive.

Outside of N.A. the American style strip club is uncommon. Europe has some and so does Australia.

In Thailand it is officially illegal, but very accepted and even expected culturally. It also, of course, infamously ubiquitous. I get feeling Vietnam and Singapore are also accepting to a high degree.

Think jestie is on the right track, many other countries just cut the charade and have flat out brothels.

When did you visit SE Asia? The growth in the human trafficking trade is bringing the cost down so that more locals can afford. After all if you don't have to pay labor costs to your workers you can sell their services cheaper.

In Germany I went to clubs where sex shows were common and participating show were, too. In fact, that's the first place that I did DATY with a dancer on stage. I regularly jacked off in full view of the dancers.

The Hustler Club of Paris is close to an American strip club. But it is very restrictive (no touching, no asking for dancer info for OTC) and much too expensive.

I've been to a couple of clubs in or near London that were pretty damn close to the standard we've set here. One in particular "Beavers SC" in Watford was up to par with most of the clubs I've visited in the states. I've also been clubbing in Germany, Denmark and Holland. Of this three none of them were really comparable to a full contact high mileage club here but the Banana Club in Amsterdam was an experience I'll never forget seeing as I was the lucky "stiff" who got to "mount" the stage for a special banana treat.

I haven't done any clubbing in Asia per se although I did hit a club in Guam while touring US military bases in APAC region one year. That club called "Club USA" was not very impressive even considering my predilection for Asian/Pacific Islander spinners.

I'd like to do my exploration of the pay-for-sex scene in Europe and it looks like I'll be heading over to Prague in mid/late June so I may very well have the opportunity to scratch that itch.

Been to clubs in Mexico, not TJ, that were similar to here. Except it's the norm there that the dancing booth has a door, and extras are more readily available.

I am British with virtually no experience of North American clubs. In England, most strip clubs allow no touching and both the girls and the management enforce the rules pretty fiercely because the local authorities threaten to shut them down. It is quite hard to find girls who will meet OTC (though I have done it a few times). There are a few clubs where mileage is higher - Beavers in Watford and the Honey Pot in Maidenhead come to mind. But for mutual touching in most places you need to look for an escort - they are plentiful with loads of agency sites not to mention adultwork.com.

What are called strip clubs in many places in Europe (but not England) often charge very high prices for what the girls drink; the Reeperbahn in Hamburg is mainly a rip off with as many girls touting for business on Davidstraße as in the famous brothels or in Herbertstraße.

More generally, in Germany the scene is completely different from that in England. P4P sex is completely legal in Germany and FKK clubs like Artemis in Berlin and Babylon and Harmony in Hamburg offer good value for money full sex if that is your thing. In my experience in Germany and Poland so called strip clubs vary from slightly disguised brothels to places designed simply to enable pretty girls to part a guy and his money.

Prague is different again with K5 Relax offering one version of an expensive brothel and Darling another; I definitely prefer K5 but if you like watching a show go to Darling where it goes on all night and is said to be very raunchy in the small hours especially at the weekend. The two Showparks are slightly cheaper but with fewer, less good looking, girls. Darling and the Showparks also have strippers - you need to ask the girls to find out which are which. My favourite place in Prague is the small Faraon bar (faraonbar.cz) in the centre where a reasonably priced private dance can include you and the girl masturbating to completion. I understand that there is now an FKK club in Prague but I have not been there.

Showboat in Zaandam NL is the best! Sex club, with Theme nights, ie gang bang night, were local women aged 20 to 60, some really fine! Come to get fucked by as many guys and as often as possible, not for money but because the like fucking and sucking. Multiple partner, safe sex everywhere, absolutely unbelievable! A wonderful buffet and drinks all for about 40Euros (less than $75). If you get to Amsterdam, skip the Red Light tourist trap and take the train to Zaandam, Took me 4 trips to figure out Banana Club and House of La Rosa and all the window shops combined, can't hold a candle to the Showboat. showboat.nl
