Interesting comments from a " high school friend". Apparently one or both went to Chechnya for 5 or 6 weeks around Christmas. One also allegedly posted on Facebook that he was Muslim. All guns are illegal in many if not most countries and the criminals still have guns. The murder rate in the UK is virtually the same as here and guns are illegal. In Russia the gun murder rate is much higher than here and private gun ownership has been illegal there for more than a hundred years. If you take away the couple of wacko mass killers (who obtained their guns illegally) the firearm death rate in the US has fallen every year for many years.

Vehicular manslaughter far out strips guns, so why are cars legal. Abortion kills thousands every week and why is it legal?? There is a cold blooded killer finally on trial for killing full term babies and the media has not even devoted more than a few seconds to the story of the months.
