Twenty-six people have been charged after a two-day prostitution sting in Aurora, authorities said Friday.

Six people — five women and a man — were charged with prostitution Wednesday at an undisclosed Aurora address when an undercover officer responded to ads from unnamed Internet sites known for advertising sexual services.
Those charged Wednesday with prostitution include Ashley Lynn Brevig, 25, of the 100 block of Stroble Avenue in Amboy.; Christopher Lee Rosario, 23, of the 700 block of Lewisburg Lane in Aurora; Veleda Ayana Bell, 22, of the 2100 block of Best Place in Aurora; Tetiana Pylypenko, 23, of the 3200 block of North Cicero Avenue in Chicago; Rachel Grace Binkley, 20, of the 3100 block of North Springfield Avenue in Chicago; and Infinity Onyaye Flynn, 20, of the 3200 block of West Lafayette Avenue in Decatur.

Pylypenko also was charged with battery for allegedly throwing a water bottle at the undercover officer during her arrest.

A man who accompanied Flynn to the setup location, 21-year-old Byron Charles Young of the 2100 block of East 68th Street in Chicago, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after a pistol was found in his vehicle.

To continue the sting Thursday, Aurora police placed an advertisement on one of the websites they were targeting. At a different undisclosed location in the city, 19 men were arrested after allegedly offering an undercover officer money for sex.

Those charged Thursday with solicitation of a sexual act include:

• Aurora residents Alfonso Gomez Perez, 28, of the 500 block of East New York Street; Juan Mirandan, 25, of the 700 block of Spencer Street; and Manoj A. Enas, 40, of the 3700 block of Baybrook Drive.

• Bolingbrook residents Victor Manuel Herrera-Villegas, 37, of the 200 block of Silverado Street; Guy Baillargeon, 34, of the 0-99 block of Elm Court; Larry Joe Tincher, 47, of the 300 block of Thistle Drove; Aaron Kenneth Heath, 28, of the 300 block of Deering Lane; and Randall Vincent Ringgold, 45, of the 400 block of Rebecca Lane.

• Naperville residents William X. Fang, 60, of the 1300 block of Dunrobin Circle; Deepak G. Ghelani, 53, of the 1500 block of Garfield Avenue; Keith Joseph Quintavalle, 63, of the 800 block of Shondrew Drive; Thomas Jay Sinnen, 55, of the 23000 block of West Royal Worlington Drive; and Charles Chester Sawall, 57, of the 10S100 block of Alago Road.

• And others including Timothy Bryan Tunnell, 45, of the 700 block of John Court in Genoa; Philip Stephan Hollingsworth, 55, of the 3000 block of Caroline Drive in Joliet; Juan Carlos Ascencio, 46, of the 100 block of Hamlet Circle in Montgomery; Gary Leroy Morgan, 57, of the 21000 block of Aspen Lane in Plainfield; Mir Haroon Ali, 38, of the 900 block on Windslow Circle in Glen Ellyn; and William Grant, 32, of the 100 block of Meroway Court in Chapin, S.C.

This doesn't surprise me. Aurora has been trying to get rid of prostitution since before these prostitutes were born. And they will be when the currently unborn prostitutes of the future get arrested 30 years from now.

Why does the newspaper feel compelled to publish where these people live? I don't think that is even done in murder cases.

Since when does throwing a water bottle at someone count as battery? Unless the bottle is full, made of steel, and is like a gallon in size, a water bottle ain't doing shit unless the person throwing it is a pro baseball pitcher or something. Aurora cops sound like pansies.

Especially releasing full name, age, and location of the arrested parties? That's messed up.

I have to assume police have to list the address of the people they arrest as part of their procedures. But the newspaper publishing the addresses, when all they really have to do is list hometowns, that's screwed up. the Daily Herald must be on a mission to humiliate the people who get arrested.

you always hear about the arrests! but the newspapers never follow up on the outcome after their day in court! right? that's because the cops evidence is usually probably just too weak and they are found "not guilty". Can't anybody see they use the arrest and public humiliation as the true punishment? For the cops that is enough. I wonder what the true conviction rate is?
