I know a dancer here in Texas who accepted a ride home, at least it was supposed to be home. She had too much to drink, and was not making good decisions.

She had danced a couple of times for the guy earlier in the night, unfortunately for her, it was all cash transactions.

She decided, in her drunken state to take a chance. It was a bad mistake.

He drove her to a deserted area at gunpoint. He beat her enough to take all the fight out of her. Then he raped her.

Fortunately for her, he let her go. She lived to tell her story.

Dancers work in a profession where they are looked upon as whores. Many sexual predators stalk them. This is why they try to be anonymous and keep a low profile. It doesn't always work.

They never caught the guy who committed this crime in Texas, at least not yet.

I feel for all those who suffered loss with the murder of this dancer in Florida. Someday justice will be served on the bastard who did this.
