Lately I've been trying different clubs near me instead of the one I've always gone to and I've noticed a trend that is irritating me. They don't have someone on the stage all the time, and I'm not talking missing one song I mean for long strings of songs. My regular club always has someone on stage. I don't always feeling like getting a lap dance sometimes I just want to sit and watch the stage.

Last night I stopped at a club on the way home from a game and had no intention or desire to get a lap dance, I just wanted to watch girls get naked. There were easily 14 girls working that night, in the 30 minutes I was there one girl did 2 songs, the rest of the girls were working the room trying to sell dances. Now I have no problem with girls doing that but seriously there weren't 14 customers in the club so that means there were girls available to work the stage. This is a trend I've noticed lately.

Same thing seems to be happening at one of my clubs. I asked a dancer about it and she said it was the manager's idea. They hope to sell more dances if no one is on stage.

I find the exact opposite at one of my favorite clubs. They try to keep 3 stages going in the late afternoon with a dozen or less dancers working. This is not leaving the dancers enough time to do private dances.

Hmmm, Alucard, I almost always notice what shadowcat says. Is there something that keeps you from noticing what he says more often?

motorhead: "They hope to sell more dances if no one is on stage."

That's crazy. The dancers get the customers' attention and advertise themselves by their on-stage dances.

Didn't we just have another thread by the same title by another person?

agreed... dead air time is unacceptable

I can rationalize some slack between dancers, but multi-song gaps is frickin' ridiculous. Last trip to Cheerleaders Pittsburgh, PA was atrociously bad for no dancers on stage.

That's why I left after 30 minutes, I have no problem with them coming up and asking for dances but seriously just sitting there looking at an empty stage is boring. I figured if I only saw one dance in 30 minutes the odds were good I wasn't going to see more than 1 more in the next 30 minutes.

Sorry Alucard I didn't see the previous thread.

This happens quite often at rural clubs.

I've noticed that at clubs in small towns/rural areas as well, like at my favorite club, especially midweek when hardly anyone's there.

I've also noticed the problem Shadowcat has seen at one of the clubs I visit regularly if it's a midweek visit. They have a T-shaped main stage with three poles, so if everyone is sitting at the stage and all the chairs by the stage are occupied, they have a dancer at each pole, even if they only have about 10 dancers, which seems the norm. In that situation, and given their setup, they ought to have a girl do a two song set as the only girl onstage. But that's not what they do on Friday night, when it is seriously crowded, so they treat both situations the same. But they are not the same. This might be my problem with that club, in that its presentation is poor. The other club I visit handles it much better. They have situations where they have to do 3 songs sets and others when they only do 2. Maybe that is what happens when the owner is always there.
