Well if practice makes perfect, then escorts may be better in a VERY general sense.
In REALITY, I believe it is solely a function of the individual woman's personality & comfort with her sexuality.
All else being equal you'd expect the pro to be better. For strippers it's more of a sideline. But the emotional component is obviously important, and the escort might have more of a professional detachment. I've never used an escort so have no basis for comparison.

I'm staying away from wives at least right now. I have seen a few pop up ads for wives looking for discrete encounters. I was thinking I've never been with an escort but I really do not know for sure. One dancer seemed to have a rather busy schedule. She was the only one I ever had a one night stand with. She told me she was going to Vegas in the morning. With most dancers they seem to hang around for a long time after they get to know me a little. In the case of the one night stand, I met her dancing at a club. Then she invited me to meet up later. I should have known something was suspicious about her when she told me if a guy asked to meet up first, she would not.

Unless we do it anonymously standing up at the back of a crowded bar during the Final Four, I prefer to know the girl I am having sex with. So I think strippers are better than escorts in that regard.
I have had more instances of awkward sex (no such thing as BAD sex) with strippers when I have met them OTC. Lots of awkward sex ITC....lol.

When I was younger the mechanical sex from escorts and massage parlour girls was good enough for me. Discovering SCs during my brief retirement introduced me to the drama of pursuing strippers.

Maybe for those of you with bottomless wallets. :) Definitely not for the rest of us. Though my experience with escorts is a whole lot less than with strippers, the percentage of no-shows is higher with escorts.

My time with escorts and massage parlour girls was mostly before I came into the big money; when I was still squeezing pennies from stones. I truly don't remember ever being disappointed. Certainly never with a massage parlour girl in Alberta or British Columbia. Perhaps with an escort but I can't dredge such a memory from my brain.
Different story now that I am into the stripper-OTC game. Many, many disappointments, probably because I am a traveler not a one club denizen. The big bucks are not always a guarantee.
