Hey Parody...Help me out here....Are you on my side?? Clf-dick is right. I am a PL for getting some pay day loans to go to a club. But, since he has to point it out and try to make me feel STUPID for doing it, doesn't that make him (davids/clif-dick) an even bigger pathetic loser????
I think it's the retard davids who REQUIRES everyone to agree with him 100%. Else he will engage in personal attacks and strawmen. Especially when in Clifbar mode. His ego is too sensitive to admit he might be wrong about something. B/c then someone could be smarter than him and much wiser, and then what the fuck good would his HAIRY PALMISTRY be? Answer: no good. davids / Clifbar not regarded as the most receptive to new ideas. Which is why evolution has deemed it necessary for to DIE NEVER HAVING BEEN LAID!
The Founder needs to add a new feature. A button to ignore posts where people you don't have on ignore whine about people you do have on ignore. He could call it the 'ignore by association' button.
I think it's the retard TUSCL users who REQUIRE everyone to agree with them 100%. Else they engage in personal attacks and strawmen. Especially the old men. The older the worse. Their egos are too sensitive to admit they might be wrong about something. B/c then someone could be younger than them and still wiser, and then what the fuck good would be old be? Answer: no good. Old people not regarded as the most receptive to new ideas. Which is why they evolution has deemed it necessary for them to die rather than live to be 300.
avids/clif is a joke. He claims people are not nice to him so it's ok for him to constantly attack whoever he wishes. The only way he thinks you are nice to him is if you agree 100 percent with every single little piece of crap uttered out of his mouth. Even then, I really don't believe he likes people to be nice to him. He would rather have flame wars left and right except of course when there would be an opportunity to unite to flame a new stripper posting on here unaware of the wolves waiting to pounce on her. I'd rather be chatting with sexy strippers and not have some rude guy always trying to start a flame war. If he put us all on ignore except for RL, I might stop posting my brilliant commentaries on RL's threads.
Komey...I probably did over-react. But, the guy just pissed me off something awful. It wasn't until he starting posting that I was a PL for the payday loans that my hot button got pushed. I've been reluctant to jump on the 'hate davids/clif-dick' band-waggon until now. But, I'm on it now.
So, davids/clif-dick..Don't commit suicide. Just put me on ignore as I already have you there.
Lemme chime in and say getting a payday loan to go to a SC prolly isn't the wisest use of getting a payday loan. What else needs to be said than that? Why would anyone even attempt to dignify the comments of someone who called you a PL? I can think of roughly 100 other instances that would paint you with the brush of being a PL (some of which I myself have practised). Let it go.
yank - I just want to inject one thing here. As much as davids/ClifBar annoys you, don't ever wish/tell them to commit suicide. There was a poster on a hockey board that I participate in that not many people really liked and some people did say things pertaining to suicide. Well, he wound up actually doing it. You better believe that those people who posted that really felt bad about it afterwards. Don't be like that.
Clif-Dick/Davids... I see you've posted a response. But, I can't read it because I have you on ignore. Put me me on ignore too. That way, we can ignore each other and then you and I will get along a whole better. Thank-you.
If, say half a dozon guys got behind you on this and agreed with you that I'm a PL for getting some pay day loans, then that would be one thing. They have pointed out that it was stupid, which I freely admit. BUT, NO ONE HAS AGREED WITH YOU that I am a PL. You're alone in this arguement. Why don't you just leave here so that guys who have respect for one another can discuss strip clubbing?? No need to Respond. I can't read it anyway. Just have the founder discontinue your membership.
I think we're all entitled to do something that is not the smartest thing in the world sometime in our life. It doesn't necessarily mean we are PL's, it just means we are human. Of course as far as the point goes in the previous post, I think that has been proven many times over.
CG...Thank you. I appreciate that. I really mean it too. And I also think that over all I'm not a PL. Although, there have been times that I felt like one because I know that getting a pay day loan is not the brightest thing in the world to do, for any reason. I think those places should be put out of business. I know a guy at work that has SIX pay day loans out due to a gambling habbit.
Davids/Clif-dick...You're right. I do have some serious issues with women. But where you're wrong is, I don't think I can get strippers to date me OTC for free. I've never said that. As, for the 100k. That wasn't very bright either. But, where the FUCK do you come off putting ME down when no one else does???? You are disliked on this board MORE than anyone else. NO one here that has been here for a while likes you. You are one ROYAL PIECE OF SHIT ASSHOLE PRICK and you should commit suicide. Then, not only could we ignore you, BUT WE COULD ALL FORGET ABOUT YOU AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!! So just FUCK OFF, inject yourself with HIV, check into a hospice and watch yourself slowly DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Darkwolf: Interesting alibi to explain the loan. If it ever came to me needing to explain it, that's probably the route I would have to take. But, incidentally, the amount was actually $3k. As it turned out, I really didn't even need to get the money, as my OTC that I had planned, actually turned out to be free... BUT, had I been put into a situation where I needed to pay for services, I wanted to make sure that I was covered...
Though I am not one that believes in the secrecy of most anything... discretion is a good thing. I would offer as a possible excuse some friend of yours that was down on his luck that you needed to help out. But, it wasn't the best of situations so you didn't know if you'd get the support you needed from your wife - so you just got a short term loan to help him out hoping he would hold his end of the bargain and get the money back to you quickly. When he did you just paid it off and things went back to normal. You would be able to mix a bit of good guy helping someone out of a situation that you weren't told much about - but knew it was a drastic thing - in with a bad thing of fella keeping his wife out of the loop on such a thing. Chalk it up to not knowing what her response would be following quickly with a 'I know I would come to you now because you are more comfortable with what the outcome would be.'
Maybe that wouldn't work but it is a plausable situation that most anyone could find themselves in. I have had buddies come up to me letting me know of situations and me helping them out - no knowing wether or not I should let people in my personal life in on the transaction because I wouldn't know what their take on the situation would be.
I think it also depends on the amount of money we are talking... 1k would be easy to explain I'd think. Much more than that you might have to do some more talking.
Fondl: She IS paying the bills ... I make the money, she pays the bills for several reasons. I tend to procrastinate, so as a bill payer, that is NOT a good trait. Also, many years back, when I was still the bill payer, I was spending a LOT of money on another hobby (R/C planes and R/C cars), and she wanted to keep her eye on that, I guess... probably a good idea. EXCEPT, by shutting the door on that harmless hobby, we all know which hobby I took up to fill my void, so to speak.
Not being the bill payer makes THIS hobby more difficult, too... which is why I established my secret "entertainment fund".
If she ever asks about it I'd just say one of your credit cards raised their interest rate on you and you refinanced to get a lower rate. It's no big deal unless your wife is paying the bills. Fortunately mine has no interest in doing so.
IMO, the only pathetic losers are people who worry so much about what others think or about spending money that they're afraid to have any fun. I put such people here on "ignore" a long time ago.
This thread all took place before I got interested in this discussion board. (I'm not sure why it took me almost six years of membership before I discovered this menu option, but I AM glad that I did)
The Pay Day loan thing struck me as humorous. If getting one of those makes one a PL, and if I wasn't already one (which I am), I'd say I fit the description. No, never got a pay day loan, but when I was planning my next OCT about two years ago, and noticed that my "entertainment fund" was getting way too low, I made a stupid mistake.
I wanted to get a loan that the wife would never hear about (of course), so I asked around and heard about a "non secured loan". I went to the bank and asked more questions, and finally signed the papers, with assurances that my wife wouldn't find out.
I got the money... enjoyed a VERY good OTC with my fave of the day, and even paid off the loan a month or so later - all was good.
Whew! Right? Wrong. About that time, those "free credit report" ads started popping up on TV, and my wife thought it'd be great to see what our rating was. At work I ran the report and then looked through it. One of the items on the report, was my "non secured" secret loan. SHIT!!!
Since my wife was excitedly planning on viewing the report that night, I put my IT know-how to work and copied the contents of the report into a file, edited out the section(s) that showed even remotely anything about that loan, then printed it out.
Whew! Right? Wrong. Again just recently, the loan reared it's ugly head. Planning to do some serious remodeling, we applied for a Home Eq loan. The bank sent out papers for us to fill out, and as MY luck would have it, included was our credit report. SHIT!!!
For once, luck was with me on this one... as I scanned every line closely looking for anything incriminating, I saw that the credit report was just a summary, along with our "credit number". Another bullet dodged.
Whew! Right? Well... for the time being. Though this little stupid trick I pulled is going to hang over my head forever, along with a dozen or so other mistakes I've made over my years of clubbing and OTC play that could (and probably will) come back to bite me.
