I'd date a Pornstar, but not a Stripper!

Ok.. I am only 27.. not a frequent SC visitor, averaging once a year or so. But after reading a lot of threads in this discussion. I really have to say that most Pornstars would have more self-respect than Strippers. 1. Pornstars make adult films. They have sex for a living, but it's all professional. Not all Strippers have sex with their clients ITC or OTC (LOL i am picking up all the SC Slangs) , but at the very least i find that they can be very fake even though they do that to make a living. If there's a saying "fake it till you make it" then they probably "fake it till they really become fake in their personality the minute they step into their "workplace" once they do it enough time" 2. Strippers serve all different strangers a lot of times and regulars who continue to support them. Pornstars have a lot more dignity in that regard that they chose to do a film with another professional and there's no fakeness between staffs or clients in the industry, just Adult Acting. 3. Pornstars more often than not do it because they like to be THE Star, they like it, they enjoy it. Meanwhile, even though a lot of strippers are forced to do that out of necessity to make money, they often have more messed up, unstable lifestyle that forces them to continue down the rabbit hole. Please note that this is a generalization of my own humble opinion regarding the difference in Pornstars and Strippers as I'm sure there are exceptions in each industry. Stripper just seems a lot dirtier with low self-respect in comparison to a pornstar.

    Just one in LA. I'm just saying if I had to choose to date one, Pornstar would top Stripper for me because of the reasons above.

    I feel exactly the opposite. I like strippers and I find porn stars somewhat distasteful. Perhaps I've watched too many videos of porn stars taking it in 3 holes from 3 guys at once. The strippers I know have standards, and some of them don't do extras. I will continue to date them.

    If I'm EXPECTED to perform like Her porn film male co-stars, then I'd rather "Date" a stripper. More reasonable expectations! LOL

    @bang69 actually its the other way around, you have a better chance of getting an STD from a stripper, porn stars are required to get tested for STDs every 3-6 weeks and they are very strict about that, on the other hand strippers are not required to get tested for STDs and some of them don't even realize that they might have it.

Dating is a form of courtship consisting of social activities done by two persons with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as a partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. If that is your question, neither, but if you are speaking of a "one night stand date", either!

    I'd go with neither. But hard to say. Of the hundreds of strippers I've done business with, there have only been a handful I've known well enough to even consider dating. I've known a couple of porn stars professionally and they seemed nice enough but again I didn't know them well enough to consider dating.

    There seems to be many porn stars that have flamed out and look really bad or have died penniless. There are others that have gone on to create their own companies and market their own products. There have been many strippers that have been small-time ROBs and have been weighed down by boyfriends/dealers. There are many strippers that have interesting stories to tell and that appreciate being treated like humans. So generalizations aren't helpful. But generally speaking, "dating" either of them carries a lot of baggage. I think that I'd prefer a better stripper to a better porn star--there are some nice girls who strip and I haven't met a nice porn star. There might be some nice porn stars out there, I just have never met one.

    I've met a few strippers that, were I twenty years younger and not attached, I might want to "date", but then, I haven't met a lot of women in general, that I'd want to date in the manner that Clubber outlines. I haven't met any pornstars (that I know if), but I can't imagine that either they (or strippers, or women in general) are any more or less dateable than any other. It's a case by case basis. For instance, my CF/ATF is gonna be a catch for the right guy, i.e. one that doesn't mind an independent woman. Her best friend, I wouldn't touch with the proverbial 10 foot pole. Needy and dirty. I don't like the word, but "whore" describes her to a tee.

    Generally speaking they would both rate the same. Of course, it's best not to date either...but...I'm just saying.

    There are a number of reasons not to date any of the girls who have done some of the stuff I have seen in porn with some of the guys I have seen in porn.

    It depends on who we're talking about.... The first Pornstar I remember ever wanting to date was Celeste....Then maybe a couple others thru the years like Holly Body, Tera Patrick, Sara Stone and Priya Rai.... Any of my 3 Dancer ATF's thru the years I would date, then or now.....

    Strippers are salespeople who's income is 100% commision. That job situation strongly correlates with a manipulative personality. Same goes for car salespeople, has nothing to do with taking your clothes off. Prostitutes, because of their legal situation, can't really sell their services, they have to be fairly passive about it. They are generally better company than dancers. I've known a few prostitutes who had done porn, but were never big stars. They were easy-going like the typical prostitute, not pesky like dancers tend to be.

    How do you think a number of pornstars got started? They were strippers. I've heard about someone visiting a strip club thinking all strippers were sluts or prostitutes. He was talking about getting dances so he decided to cut that out and said he had 5 thousand in his pocket so how much for a hotel room visit? She told him she wasn't that kind of girl. Most dancers I see will not even go out with most people who visit a strip club. If your opinion of dancers is that low, it may have more to do with the people at one low class club rather than all dancers across the nation.

    A prostitute and a porn star both make a living by having sex for money. You might argue the porn star is creating a movie or there is some artistic quality to what she is doing. She can even win an award for best blowjob scene. A prostitute will just get repeat customers. Strippers dance and strip for guys in the club and don't usually have to even do that much except shake their ass and tits. Of course anyone with a choice might pick the girl who won best blowjob scene versus the girl who is used to getting money for shaking her ass.

    Let me just say that strippers, and probably porn stars (never met one), have sex and interactions in a relationship that are very different than what guys see when they're doing their jobs. It is quite different and you could not possibly mistake the two.
