  Founder is probably on top of this, but part of the problem is that the thumbnail images for the Top Ten Clubs on the home page are not scaled to size. Most of them are around 100KB, and there are ten of them, so loading the home page is going to take at least a megabyte. The Discussion thumbnails are scaled, and they are all under 10KB.

  Hard to say. My ISP is so overladed with Netflix etc. that there is no bandwidth left. All webpages load slow as heck for me.

  North East Ohio here and I haven't noticed any slowdowns. But then my speed at home is around 20mbps...I usually do a speedtest to see if it's my ISP or the site. Most of the time it's been my ISP.
