What is the going rate for a dancer?

FD mentioned customers shouldn't 'hang out' at the strip club. Please, I'll do what I want!

So, what is your time worth? I'll often spend an hour or two drinking, checking out the stage shows, tipping, chilling, etc. But, I'm up front about this, too. Even with the girls I come to see, I encourage them to find some non-cheap customers if they need to, I'm just here to chill until they hit the stage. At this time, If they hang out with me for more than a half hour I'll get a $20 dance from them, two if it's an hour. Then after they get off stage, I'll spend anywhere from $60 to $100 an hour for one to two hours and call it a night. I think that's fair. What is your time worth?

The highest paid toolpush here in the north makes $55,000/mo for a 20on-10off work tour. That is about $200/hr for a 14hr day. Now, I am the boss and must surely be worth more than that; let's say at least $500/hr. For a spectacular hour of entertainment from a hot dancer I have no problem paying her the hourly rate I have assigned to myself.

That's a reasonable rationale, except you are management, where they are specialists. If I were to pay them my hrly rate, they'd get about $26 hr. Maybe, I should take a management position...

Hanging out; i.e. spending no money and treating a strip club as you would a regular bar.

My going rate is a lot..usually $10 to $20 dollars per dance more than the other dancers are asking. Usually $200 or more above what others are asking for VIP. There are a handful of customers who I've seen at a variety of different clubs who won't buy dances from me, usually because I don't give deals. I'll sometimes spend five minutes or so talking to these veteran clubbers out of respect even though they don't spend money. I usually get a back scratch out of the deal. Other than those few customers, I expect money money money.

To be fair, FD didn't say you shouldn't just hang out without spending money. She said you shouldn't expect the dancers to shower you with attention if you do.

As for me, there's no time limit they have to sit with me. I've bought $200 VIPs after 5 minutes, and on other occasions nothing at all after a half hour. It depends on what vibe I'm getting.

I spend 12 to 16 hours 5 to 7days a week up in the club and I don't spend a damn dime! I'm one broke ass motherfucka! If I paid dancers what I made they would make $7.56 an hour lol that a real joke !

In Texas, the going rate was 2 sheep and a cow.

In Arizona, the going rate is 3 chickens.

I can afford to tip a dollar or two if I think someone deserves it but I'm not going to spend money just because a dancer is spending her time with me. Granted a few rare dancers I do buy them a drink or two and they stay and chat but usually most dancers don't stay and chat too long. I usually don't mind if they don't stay long. Every once in a while I do encounter a dancer who only seems to want to talk or sit with me for a while. Whenever that happens I hope I like her because they can stick around like glue. Well most only stay and talk for 15 to 45 minutes since they are typically working. I remember one dancer said she wanted to spend the entire night with me one time, in the club that is, she said she had to get one 10 dollar table dance every hour. She wanted to date me but I didn't pick up on that right away.
