Between B and C I would say. $450 is towards the top end of what I usually pay for OTC and escorts here in England. $450 will get you a superb, and I mean TRULY superb looking girl that I am sure you would all rate a 10 if seen in the club as a stripper.

I agree with most of the others. Depending on where this took place, you either got a bargain, or paid about double what you could have gotten away with in my neck of the woods. But everybody has paid too much at one point, and if this is the first time, it could have been a lot worse. A lot worse.

Local market dynamics determine supply and demand prices. I am a traveler and I have paid more and I have paid less than you did. I am a bit surprised that a dancer limited you to an hour. I have always been able to talk dancers into longer 'dates' than that. Escorts are a different matter - strict fees based on time engaged for sex (or anything else). Massage parlours are the assembly lines of commercial sex - in and out as fast as possible.

In Alberta where I make many of my 'purchases', OTC with a dancer is in the $300 range, escorts $200+/hr., and massage parlours can be as low as $140.

For a first time, you did pretty good, particularly on the motel price. Give yourself a C+.

I don't think $450 is excessive (I'd pay that much if the girl was very good), especially if this was in the NYC market (or surrounding - NJ etc). Though it would have been better if you could have spent more than one hour with her. Strippers, as they often aren't actual escorts are more lenient with their time in my experience, especially on a day they're not working anyway. You did good with the Motel fee - that's pretty cheap.

Shit, you paid her $450 AND you had to drive her back to her club? I think you overpaid, but no doubt you were eager to make the score. IME $300 is enough to get it done almost anywhere outside of NYC or Boston and if you paid $35 for a motel, then you were nowhere near either of those two places.

IME the best way to negotiate OTC is when you are willing to leave without the OTC. Outside of big market areas, there are very few guys in any club that are easily able and willing to cough up $300 for a piece of ass, to these offers do not fall off of trees. Either she smelled your eagerness and gave you a high quote or you blurted out the number when she asked you 'how much" in your eagerness to land the score.

But we all stumbled a bit in the early days, so chin up and just keep at it. :)

@rickdugan - have you tried OTC in the NYC area? What's your experience there on pricing?

It has a stigma of being quite expensive, but a $300 budget is possible so far in my experience (just a bit harder to find).

I guess $450 is really on the higher end, particularly for just one hour. If you had gotten 2 hours+ out of this, I'd say it's OK. I would not say it's SO unreasonably high though. gsv, you just hit upon why OTC is so hard to get from a club in Manhattan at a reasonable price. In most Manhattan clubs the girls pay high house fees but get to keep their CR/VIP money. So they are motivated to try to sell you ITC, which is generally more lucrative, safer, and with less put out than OTC.

Now from time to time it's possible to arrange to pickup a girl from a club in Manhattan, but only after her shift is over, she has had a bad night and needs fast cash. Of course, no doubt there are guys paying premium $$$ to make it happen, but that's not my gig.

Queens, on the other hand, can be more reasonable, but even there the girl better be having a bad night if you want to get her out for $300. I've done it a fair number of times, but it is not that easy to arrange.

Interesting, I know that at Flashdancers, the CR gets the girls about $150-200 for themselves. Blue Room gets them about $400, I believe, while the customer pays a whopping $1600.

There are girls that don't get CR'd very often, so at least at this club, OTC is possible (I say this with experience) with a certain segment of the girls (many of which are still very hot), particularly those that are newly hired and don't have a lot of regulars coming in for them...

The "fun" took place in VA. I go to NJ when I'm looking to gamble. On a side note I get more mileage in VA then in NJ; does anybody else find that messed up?
