drama working FOR you?

A couple of recent posts reminded me of this ....

We've all had the experience of a dancer dumping on us about locker room drama or drama in her life, and we're thinking "STFU already! If I want to hear this kind of shit, I'll go back to the office." But has anyone else ever had it work FOR them?

Had a dancer that I had become friends with -- we'd hang out together and if things were slow, as long as I got a couple dances, she'd be content to sit there for 30-60 minutes and talk, though most times, we'd go VIP, anyway. And I'd always tell her up front if we were or not.

One day, she had had a shitty week, both personal and locker room (with some overlap just to add to the shitty-ness). She vented for about 20 minutes, then thanked me profusely for listening. I told her it was fine -- that I considered her a friend, and that I could identify with some of it, anyway (her "friend" fucked her over in a similar manner to how my ex fucked me over).

I then asked if she wanted to go to VIP, where we had -- by far -- the best time we have ever had there.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

Back in the mid 90's, I went to a now defunct place. A cutie sat down next to me and we started talking. She went on a ten minute rant about her family, which I actually enjoyed. You could actually see her shoulders sag as she finished ( a need to vent), then she said "I'm sorry, this is supposed to be about you."

I tried to reassure her, but she acted like she had crossed a boundary. Shortly, we went to the back for lappers and it was the first time in a topless place that a dancer offered me the kitty. Unfortunately, I only had 40 (2 lappers), and I'm not the customer version of a ROB (although I might've got a freebee out of her).

I don't think I could listen to that long enough to get to that point. I am having trouble imagining even a great VIP being worth multiple nights of listening to that drivel.

Well, perhaps a 2 girl VIP with one girl hanging legs up with pussy in my face while giving me a BBBJ while her friend gently suckles my balls - now that might be worth it. ;)

rick: If most of my experiences were on the road, as yours apparently are, I think I'd completely agree. However, given the almost exclusively local nature of my adventures, I find that putting up with some of that can pay off later. Mind you, not every time I see her, and not for hours or anything, but once in a while and for a few minutes can benefit me in the long term.

'Course, I'm one of those lame ass PLs who likes to talk to the girls almost as much as I like fucking them, at least once I get to know them. YMMV.

sometimes drama and rants work in your favor. i listen to several drama and rants and the end line/ story is the stripper need money. what does that equal too, she does things she normally wont do to make up the cash = patron wins!

Part of their job is to create a fantasy for us. We're all different and it seems that in some cases, the girl is creating a fantasy for you in that you get to play the white knight and listen to her. I'm not that into being a white knight...I want to be the lance.

Well, if not actually doing anything but listening to her vent for a bit constitutes being a "white knight", then count me in. I'm sure my wife will give me crap about it, but if it gets me what I'm looking for, where's the problem? Yeah sure, for you guys on a limited time budget, it's a waste of time. For me, it's an investment.
